this is actually the most "Flat" sounding set in my collections it sound good if you doesn't compare it to other fun sounding set but it sounded boring if you compare it side to side, or simply just switching still, my fav set in the price range because its prettiness and all rounder-ness

For “me” this set sounds identical to kiwi ears cadenza and c3. Maybe I’m not keen enough about picking up their differences.

EPZ Q5 VS CCA Trio which IEM is better for watching movies ?
@Rsalmond832 күн бұрын
It’s amazing how our ears hear different. I find this set somewhat holographic with a somewhat deep stage. The mid bass isn’t as hard hitting as I would like, but overall it’s a fun sounding, grab and go set that fits snuggly. Nice review. Thanks

EPZ has produced a good line up in DAC and IEM recently. I think they need slight refinement in IEM, overall they are doing pretty good.

Im also looking for an IEM for modern rock and metal. I currently own the Softears Studio 4, which I think is fantastic (altough expensive), but It doesnt quite have that bass slam Im looking for (everything else about it is almost perfect).
@apollomoonlandings4 күн бұрын
I really enjoy watching your reviews. The Delci easily is one of my favorite moderately priced IEMs for three reasons. First is that I love the Delci's overall tuning. The tuning is close to the HBB tuning target instead of the Harman 2019 tuning target which I hate since the Harman target is too harsh and sibilant for me in the 2 kHz to 6 kHz region and since the Harman target has a scooped out lower midrange. Second is the overall technical performance of the dynamic driver, particularly in the bass. Third is that the Delci has a slightly relaxed rise in the 2 kHz region for the simulated pinna gain. This results in a more relaxing overall sound signature which I can easily listen to for hours. I purchased the Delci a bit over a month ago. Even though I have several much more expensive IEMs, the Delci has never left my desk. I am in love with how well the Delci comfortably fits in my smaller ears and how well the Delci performs for more casual listening.

I adore my Delci with s&s tips and Arrti clear cable. Whatt do you get more with DeVinci compere to Delci?
@obodioreviews3 күн бұрын
Quite a different experience, but the Delci is a more balanced, slightly sharper sound while the DaVinci is a smoother, deeper and richer sound. Big price difference but a worth investment on either end if you like warm IEMs

Kefine is getting stronger with their warm and relaxed game, For me in Kefine, I absolutely adored the treble 🤌 Nicely done review 🙌
@apollomoonlandings4 күн бұрын
I agree. An IEM which you can easily listen to for hours is much better than an IEM which you have to yank out of your ears after a half hour due to listening fatigue.

@obodioreviews3 күн бұрын
The Dunu DaVinci is a very unique set that doesn't have much budget options right now. I heard the AFUL Explorer had a similar warm bassy tuning, but I'd still lead you to the Delci as it still sounds good on laptops and iphone with the Apple Dongle in my experience.

I have the Simgot EA500LM find it to be very good but the treble still sounds a bit warm and the overall sound is not as airy and open. I will be getting the EA1000 since it's said to be brighter and airier than the EA500LM with better separation and detail, all characteristics I'm looking for.

I got a feeling the TRI Clarions really helps boost all its good characteristics, my favourite eartips!
@bladecup10 күн бұрын
What, Tri Clarions are most crappiest garbage of eartips, it would destroy this nice sound signature, tri are for people who are deaf or wanna to kill bass and other properties... For this iem you need to use tanchjim t-apb tips, or radius mount deep, or epro ep00, any other eartips will not improve iem...
@yds113310 күн бұрын
@@bladecup Interesting. Maybe its just me. I hear bass that is extended into sub. Its not huge amount that usual bass listeners would prefer thats for sure. But the bass is clear, transparent and more realistic to my ears ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Upper mid and treble esp is also very good imo

Bro, you and I have literally a perfectly overlapping music library. I’m trying to remember everything you specifically mentioned now after having watched the video but Remi wolf, Earth Wind and Fire, not in this vid but silk sonic we’ve talked about before, Jacob collier (esp Djesse vol 3), Daniel Caesar, and I can’t remember if you mentioned any other specific artists in this review but I can say that every single artist you mentioned are all artists I thoroughly enjoy, every single one ha! Your review style also really hits home with me and I always enjoy how thorough you are and your descriptors are awesome as I’ve noticed you don’t repeat yourself very often in either what you say or specifically in your vicab. It keeps the reviews engaging and fresh and interesting and they’re also very logically well structured and easy to follow. And then it would seem as tho you and I have v similar sound sig preferences overall..I already wanted the set between what I’ve seen of the graphs and other reviewers but I wanted to wait and see your take on it and was hoping you’d do a review and you def convinced me I want to buy the set for sure! I’m absolutely gonna pull the trigger now. Btw, you’re also a great extemporaneous speaker and v natural and your reviews always feel organic and never forced or scripted, but always remain clear in message and format (which is also awesome) and I just thoroughly enjoy and appreciate and find all your reviews helpful buddy! Thanks for a dope review and I’m glad ya got to do the review tour and you’re back in business so to speak. The 20 db bass iem mentioned to Timmy…agreed 😀😃 ha! The only key difference between you and I in listening preferences it would seem is that I’m a mid-volume listener, occasionally low, rarely high, but 90% mid volume for me so I found your analysis of that individual element of its performance to be especially useful as not many reviewers think to discuss or mention that but it effects the experience in a very clearly significant way like you said! Great addition 👍🏼👍🏼 thanks for the great video buddy, I just thoroughly enjoyed it in every aspect and I’m so looking forward to purchasing a set of the da Vinci now fs..take care and good to see you back bro!!
@davidcoons8911 күн бұрын
Oh and I just remembered you mentioned Toto as well 😀 anyway, I’d love to see other music suggestions you may have as there has never been an artist you’ve mentioned that I’ve known that I haven’t enjoyed myself personally and I can’t say that I remember trying anything new based off of what you’ve mentioned in reviews but that’s kinda what I mean is I’d love to get suggestions since our taste is extremely similar in music and styles! I always enjoy the written updates you do where you walk thru an album you’ve been listening to or short written experiences on a specific listening session etc. V cool imo that you do that and it’s quite unique to your channel as well. You’re honestly by a HUGE margin my favorite reviewer and I think the best reviewer on YT for IEMs. I watch literally just about every channels reviews including ones that have like 50-100 subs only on up thru Z (less so his specifically anymore tho he is entertaining still) and I can def say with confidence that I trust your reviews thru and thru for all those reasons in this and the previous comment above and always appreciate your transparency and honesty as well buddy. Way to go on an awesome channel with fantastic content and great video as well..thanks for all ya do to contribute to this hobby and community buddy!!!

I really enjoyed watching your review and hearing your listening impressions for the DaVinci. While tip rolling, I discovered that the Tri Clarion eartips will make the bass sound muddy, perhaps because these eartips do not grip the DaVinci's nozzles as tightly as other eartips. I settled on using Tangzu Tang Sancai Balanced eartips. Azla SednaEarfit eartips also pair nicely with the DaVinci 4:17 You unscrewed the wrong part of the interchangeable plug, yet it is pure genius in terms of what you showed in your video. The correct part which you unscrew for changing the plug is the knurled ring next to the white triangle on the plug, instead of the smaller smooth ring which you did unscrew. The part which you unscrewed is not supposed to be unscrewed since it is the sub-assembly for where the cable wires are soldered to this sub-assembly component.

It's pretty balanced and fits the mix really well. It's not a treblehead set by any means, but it's well extended and does not sound dark or dull at all. There are brighter sets out there, but the treble of DaVinci sounds fitting.
