You should react to their other two, Love Yourself and Bata, Kaya Mo. In my opinion, Bata, Kaya Mo is so underrated. It's a collab with another group. (If you remember when you were watching the guide, there was a clip of Stacey rapping with a guy.) I have it in my mount rushmore of Bini songs along with Karera, I feel good, Cherry on top, and Strings.

Other Blooms are watching the concert online and others currently busy re-watching fancams of Day1 concert performance. BINI Grand BINIverse is insanely good. Nothing like this ever happened in the Philippines - not at this level in terms of production. BINI girls outdid themselves

Just to put things in perspective, pop music in the Philippines did exist for a long time, known as OPM (original pinoy music), but pop idol music, aka PPOP, is new, and on top of that, KPOP is huge in the Philippines. So BINI had to fight for recognition in their own country that was largely dominated by OPM and KPOP, plus they debuted during the COVID pandemic, and last but not least, their company was shut down (license renewal issues)... so there was a lot of obstacles. It took one song, 3 years later, to go viral, and they finally are getting the recognition not only in the Philippines but also internationally. Right now they are the hottest most sought after girl idol group in the Philippines.

QWER intended to shoot the gap between kpop and jrock. But they are a growth band starting with 2 famous Twitch Streamers, 1 Famous Tiktoker, and a former Japanese Idol. They started as a result of a youtube content project and blew up into what they are now(they just won KGMA award for best band 2024). During the initial youtube content creation, they wanted to recreate the feel of the idols from the anime Oshinoko and openly declared as such. Because of this and many other reasons including sudden popularity, they are considered idol band now. This MV was their response to many who posted negative, some heinous, comments through forums and youtube comments including calling them faking performances despite dozens of live festival performances. QWER has taken to prove themselves by live performances(they are a-listers for college festivals numbering around 40 this year alone plus other festivals). This MV is sorta like that leading into their 2nd mini album. This MV lyric is a declaration that no matter what people say, QWER will win them over. No need to worry about them, though. Their music is ubiquitous. They won almost everyone over. Thanks for the reaction.

If you ever do plan on watching a performance vid of this song, I highly recommend their dingo live. The guitar and bass is louder and more present in the sound mix. It’s my favorite version to listen to.

The training that they had were from korea, their management contacted korean coaches who worked with YG entertainment that coached and trained blackpink, 2ne1 and BTS. Now thay are busy preparing for their 3 nights sold out concerts this nov 16-18 in which they will be performing infront of 20,000 people.
