I saw RHCP and the Pumpkins open with the Gish album in Ohio 1992. I moved to college in Chicago in 93 and saw the Siamese Dream show at Metro 2 weeks after arriving in a new city. Still have the vibe 30 years later. Those two albums never get old.

95% of the keyboard based bands of that time were just computer sequenced drums, keys, bass synth with vocals and misc keys and guitars laid over, but what I recognized when missing persons came out was this was not sequenced music (think berlin etc) as a keyboardist and guitarist at the time mainly playing top 40 rock ie genesis, toto, loverboy I was blown away but MP’s original sound and complicated songs. Later I found the bozio’s worked with zappa and I knew they were geniuses.

Curiously it sounds like Neil is singing "You drag me down" instead of "I saw you down" or "I saw you drown".

@@vixcavalenciasempre6791 que diferencia?es un cover de Bowie, quizás con la formación con reeves gabrels y Zac alford habría sido un buen cover

I have played this song probably more than any other song ever and it still gives me goosebumps and makes me smile. First saw SP in 1993 in a small music venue in Memphis, TN and they have been my favorite band since then. I was on a crab fishing boat up in Alaska when Siamese Dream came out and was lucky enough to find the cassete, yes cassette, at a port we stopped at and played it non-stop for 2-3 months while onboard the boat.
