I wonder what happened to his son and daughters. Harry Selfridge was an amazing person who lost his way when his wife and mother died. They were his guiding lights. RIP Harry. It seems he needs a bigger gravestone and monument. Someone should start a go fund me or something to really honour him.

Fantastic gesture on yr part in cleaning the headstone & placing those well selected flowers, it looked 100x better. It's a shame how we neglect our graves in this country, & they're left to fall into a rough state like this. There's something off in our relationship with graves & how they're just abandoned & forgotten about like this after a burial by families

Excellent video, it looks like a nice place to visit. Quarries seem to make excellent filming locations as, depending on the type of quarry, it can be used to portray almost any location. A town in the old West, an alien planet, a post apocalyptic wasteland, the deserts of Iraq, a Tolkien-esque fantasy village, or even an actual quarry.

Thank you for this very interesting, in-depth summary of the Cecil and Jill Day-Lewis family, but I would like to go a bit further back in the timeline, something you also mentioned, that being Micheal Balcon. Although in a different time period, I attended the same school as he did, that being the George Dixon Grammar School in Edgbaston, so an ex-Dixonian, I feel I must address him correctly as SIR Micheal Balcon. He attended the school between 1908-13. (I attended 1974-79). There is a commemorative plaque to Sir Micheal on one of the schools' walls, just as there is a similar one at the Ealing Studios. Furthermore, near the studios, there is a Wetherspoons pub, called The Sir Micheal Balcon in his honour. It would be interesting to know how many of the regulars there know the story behind the pubs' name. Again skipping a generation, this time forward, to Daniel Day-Lewis, as similar to his grandfather, he has also been honoured, being Knighted by the Duke of Cambridge in 2014, so he too would now be addressed as SIR Daniel Day-Lewis. Born in London, he now lives in County Wicklow, Ireland, having retired from the film industry. Ironically, I am going to visit the old school in two days' time as an ex-pupil, so even though the Sir Micheal Balcon link is known at the school, I will have to ask how many people there know of his famous grandson.

Hi, I'm watching from St Petersburg, Florida, USA. What a wonderful tribute, and such a kind gesture bringing Keith's final resting place the attention it's so rightly deserves. 👏 As I believe I've heard quoted on British television, 'Good on you!' I first saw Keith Floyd on our Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) and although I've never really cooked in my life I was hooked immediately! How could you not be? His spontaneity, wit, and humor were the perfect mix! As many have said, you never knew what was going to happen next - what a great ride. Often, I felt I was right there with Keith in the moment. Very nice job, Rufus! 💞
