I had a Verizon PocketPC phone back in the day that ran Windows mobile. It had a touch screen and stylus in 2006. It had word and excel built in too. I miss that thing sometimes.

I had a KIN one for almost a year, I think they replaced it for me once (im assuming they had stock still despite it going off the market). I honestly loved that phone, I didn't have a data plan or anything so I was just using it for basic stuff but it was still great, at the time! i'll never forget how devastated I was when they discontinued it entirely from Verizon and I got stuck with some basic slider phone afterwards :(

But I don’t get it. You need a cord to connect the phone to the base. Why did Microsoft say that it’s a “Cordless phone “. What’s “Beta Archive “?

I used to play Prince of Persia running on 5.25" diskettes. The whirring sounds coming from the floppy drives as the game loads up still stirred up feelings of trepidation within me, even now as I'm thinking about those days though I'm well in my 40s right now. Thank God for solid state technology!

windows 8 is the reason why I started pressing windows key and started searching apps from there or using run. The design choices are fixed in modern windows but I still do it now. Truly a trauma

Thank you for posting this! I've resurrected an old Graphite PowerMac G4 and I'm going to give Sorbet Leopard a try. That said, will you be doing a follow up video on internet browsing with SoL? I've heard that you can run youtube videos using SoL. Best to you during this holiday season!

What if I told you that back in 1999, $99 dollars was so much moe than a burger king run. Look at the average salary in 1999 ($29,229.69).

I had this on my DS lite back in 2000s. You say it’s awful but from memory I was pretty amazed a DS could run the web at all. It was a bit slow but I actually used it quite a bit. This was pre smartphone. I have a separate network for my 1989 & 1999 Mac se/30, original iMac and Palm pilot. Don’t get me wrong it’s limited by today’s standards. Try frogfind its designed for old machines. I run frogfinder easily on my 1989 Macintosh. It strips out HTML 5 and imagines but for reading articles and news it’s fine. It also stops those errors

Funny, I wouldn't care if I got a bootleg or not as long as it works. But I did like all those options you had on the Pokémon cartridge bootleg. Far superior to the original. Sorry. I know, old video comment.

i had the same exact X6 PSP knockoff but with a different software and branding during my teen years, it was the first thing i bought after getting my first ever salary and i enjoyed that thing for what it was. i remember going to computer shops to download a shit ton of GBA games. the microSD support was what made it extremely flexible to use and used it i did, the little shit was basically my daily driver for media player and music listening. that little bugger continued to entertain me for the foreseeable two year time after before it inevitably broke down due to wear and tear. 10/10 chinese bootleg, great thing for what it was.
