Glad you are OK! Arena is not a game mechanic that I see myself playing much in the future. Played for over an hour and a half last night with a team ranging from ops 54-56 and went 2 wins and 5 losses. That was not even close to the loot needed for full pulls all week. Arena is a big failure in my mind, and I am not sure what they can do to make it better. Maybe take away the 2-minute repair cool down the only way an underpowered team can win is with numbers and the cooldown takes that option away. I liked the timing of the armada start but we had lag so that made it very difficult. Yes, Loot Crews work! Thanks for the video GAH!

Thanks for this. Nice simple comparison. Sitting at 50 now and will skip the epic 4* for sure. Based on credits I could go for any of the three uc 5*. I have pilum at t9 but see no way to source enough rare parts as yet, at least not in a reasonable time f2p. So aside from finishing up 4* research and making sure auxiliary ships are up to max for my level, not much to do before I go to 51. Pilum will sit at t9. I think you helped me decide on the rare ship, it should be the Sanctus. Suits my style since I like interceptors. But more logical then is probably go with Corvus first, or Vorcha. Two interceptors didn’t work well for me in 4*, Kelvin and Pilum 😅 also going to grind all three factions to triple lock and I like the idea of getting another Enterprise. It was what I wanted when I started the game too. But I’m not plunking 1.04 M credits and a ton of 4* mats on a 4* epic now and saving for enterprise A would take a long time.

Biggest problem for me is trying to enjoy the game when you have a Spiridon killing you every time you mine or try doing dailies. 🤬

10/15/24 still messed up, I, warping to Romulan space for the 25 Lvl 29+ kills daily challenge and my ship , while at warp for 2 or 3 minutes, is lost. I reset it and she's just sitting in spacedock waiting

The Vindicator is an absolutely phenomenal ship. Thing carried me to victory in 2 back to back 46 solo armadas. I could not beat them previously(would only do about 1/5 HHP). ...bear in mind that is only at Tier 1 level 5. I suspect it only gets more ridiculous with additional tiers.

i dont have it but the 1hr cd is a hindrance and can only work on it from weekly events but great refinery

it will help you not needing to get the sloan fc shards in section 31 save that credit for rep or the building or syndicate xp and e-picard shards but if can only get the currency from a weekly event not great limiting the ship and if its ability is every hour not great i think a 20min cd would be better

Raid will love this. IMHO seven levels is too much, it should be 3 or 4.

The sudden availability of ALL Fleet Commanders at 3 shards per day suggests an impending arc that will continue the path set by Lorca and release new OP commanders which make all legacy commanders obsolete.

Other than the Fleet Commander pulls, I don't feel like this ship is a "must have" at the moment.

I took my NX01 into Rylothor just to look in the system and I noticed that as long as I was there my hull bar turned a yellowish color and I started losing my hull slowly. Why is that?

My FC building is at 51. One thing I will point out is that if you are serious about FC's then there are two game features that really help. One is make sure to do your Borg Solo Armadas and turn in as frequently as possible. Second is work on the Titan A. These are the best features to really level and boost your FC's when Lorca came out because I had been working the Borg solos for a long time I maxed his level as soon as I unlocked him. Also, if/when you get Janeway she has a lot more skills that use smaller amounts of rare skill points which makes the Titan-A more valuable. The other FCs use more rare skill points for high end open skills (Those lvl 50 skills and even the tier before after a few levels). Overall FC's can add a lot to your game.

Came back to this for AFK hunting with the ISS Jelly. FWIW, hitting these hostiles removes your peace shield, but not your Golden Shield (like from a system update - in this case, hurricane shields).

Mitigation and evasion are entirely different ways to reduce damage... Mitigation reduces damage directly, while evasion/doge reduces hits (which, in turn, reduce damage)... The likes of Chen/T'Laan mitigate (reduce) damage, while Tom Paris increases evasiveness... Even though evading hits will reduce damage on the long run, true mitigation WILL reduce Isolitic damage (though the Gorn's Isolitic damage bonuses WILL cause huge damage whenever they hit?! The only way to reduce Isolitic damage damage is to reduce Isolitic damage?! ;P

Very timely and excellent video - I’m ops 59 going to 60 in the next month and will be building an ent-d for sure. I also have the creds for the other 2 as well but keep flitting between whether to build the dderidex too… I think as a follow up you may also want to think about how the Borg cube fits into this (and ship selection in general at different levels) as well for decision making, as a t12 cube may mean that you don’t need a 60 battleship - it’s why I can’t make my mind up about the dderidex…

for the EntD, The damage increase per round is negligible. Its a great ship from the firing pattern

The jelly loop only gets you 5* common. Best way for 5* parts is to be hammering that voyager refinery daily

Tbh, I find the amount of rep gained slightly disappointing. At your ops you need 15B rep just for the epic G5 ship. 0.25B still requires 60 visits. That's roughly 25 hours of grinding.... alongside all the other grinds 😵‍💫
