TBH, its not an alliance participation event, its a bunch of solo events with alliance event points (think like CoW). It is you as an individual gathering these resources. Yes, you alliance shows up for your FKR armadas, but that's where the alliance part exists, not broadly can your alliance run 100 armadas... IT is DEFINITELY a spenders event.

When the tournament started 1 hour before reset on server 29, i chose to do a rare FKR armada for 80 points and as usual a bunch of alliance mates joined the armada. Well...when we beat the armada (i could have easily soloed it), i went to claim my 80 credits and i couldn't claim them. I re-ran the same level armada SOLO and was able to claim the 80 credits. SO...i assume...one of the others claimed the credits before i did on the first armada. I'm NOT thrilled with this entire arc, NOT because it's a crossover but because we need to kill a bazillion fatu krey to only get a CHANCE at MAYBE killing a chimera armada thingy. It just adds WAY TOO MUCH for so little of a reward.

I hate that we even have to split into the groups of F2P and Spenders. Cause frankly I'd be more than happy to be a "spender" if spending was sane like in most games, be it single player or MMO. I don't want to be F2P but it's legitimately the only sane option. Meanwhile I'll go buy the fully fleshed out year long expansion for another game I play for a massive ... :gasp: ... $30

Its regional - USA/North AM, EU, Asia-Pac (so 3 regions). Its the same as the regional SLB from last week.

I did 2 Tasks and only got credit for 1 and it said I did 3?tasks. Something eh

Yeah heard there were scoring issues and the comp chest I think was to help smooth things over with players. Still super frustrating though.

The point of this is to divide all the alliances into categories. The alliances that spend crazy money will be in the master league while everyone else will be in one of the others. I think this will end up being not too bad, but this initiative event is going to try to trick people into spending to be part of that league.

Got the new ship - can't figure the loop. I get killed before I get out of system. So nothing has been updated. The free gift you spoke about - every time I claimed all I got was a speed up. I'm about over this game. 🥺

So your comment is on my video about the alliance tournaments but it sounds like you are talking about the protector? If so it sounds like you are going to the wrong systems with it? Are you on my discord server? It might be a little easier to figure out what’s going on there. KZbin is a great starting point but discord provides a better chat system for figuring things out. If that’s not an option please add a few details and I will try to help here.

Is it confirmed that other alliance members can contribute to a task you chose? From what I can tell, they can't

Depends on the task. I had one I completed today that counted FKR armadas I defeated. Both me and another guy dis launched some 60u ds armadas. It did not matter who launched the armadas as long as I was in one that won.

I think it's a neat idea but I'm not spending to complete the big point challenges.

Agree. Hope they make some changes like what if they have more points for mining or hitting like 100 hostiles? Somethjng the f2p can do that’s worth more than 80 pts? Right now it’s a spenders paradise. Thanks for the comment!

It's always for Spenders. Free to play get blown off. Sourcing old content sucks in this game. It's all about new so they can get money. Keep the spenders separate from the rest of us.

Not getting the ship. Not paying to score on a tourney style money suck. Even if it was just on our server. Since it is against all alliances... NOPE. All this event is going show who spends more. Scopely obviously isn't listening. You all keep buying crap and you get more crap. Quantity is how they make money. Sadly if they put quality content out the money would come.

I was planning on going up in ops anyways so figured spending and getting something from the event was better than nothing. If I was looking for a good spend event I would have waited. Really don’t think he is that great. So in short I agree he does seem very meh.
