zard patton ka bunn is my drama of the year and is also now in the list of classic dramas of ptv which i will always rewatch and enjoy time and time again. this viliage story was just so wholesome and positive and like you mentioned not preachy at all despite putting forward many societal issues. The comedy, the romance, the dialogs, the music, the cinematography. It truly felt like a lot of work was put into it and it was showcased by the actors. I cannot say or write enough praise for sajal, she is simply phenomenal. The way she became meenu and made me fall in love with her acting all over again and her chemistry with hamza who was also was amazing as doctor nofil which gave us the old school romance that we longed to see again on ptv. the two backed with the perfect supporting cast that gave life to characters whom I'll never forget like roshan and bhura. Also a special mention to the positive father-daughter and father-son relationships we saw and loved. Mustafa afridi and saifie hassan did such a great job that I wish to see this duo working together again and again and I'm also looking forward to sajal and hamzas future projects together and individually as well💕

ZPKB is on my list of best Pakistani dramas. Sure it has an excellent story, actors, direction, but it is also close to my heart because I went to my home after a long time and watched this drama with my parents. Those moments where three of us connected through this drama will always be special for me. I wish to recreate the climax of this drama in my life!

Yaqeen Ka Safar is without a doubt the best drama ever. I’ve rewatched it for the 3rd time about a month ago, and I could watch it countless times again. The beauty and essence it captured were unparalleled something truly extraordinary that I’ll never get over. For me ZPKB was wholesome I enjoyed it so much because of the story and direction and ofcourse sajal and hamza performed amazingly. Mustafa afridi showed us some GREAT characters who were strong headed and progressive. Definitely another drama that I’ll rewatch and keep recommending. KMKT stands out for me because of Fahad and hania. They did an incredible job. The way they carried out the story was amazing. Farhat ishtiaq gave us a lot to reflect on, especially for couples in today’s world. Marriages cannot thrive without support, trust, and compromise. And to also show that how you need to stand for your partner in tougher times. It also highlighted the importance of finding a true friend in your partner.

No doubt KMKT and ZPKB have to be the top dramas of the year but I feel KMKT was dragged at the end and it did become boring to me at least but this was not the case with ZPKB in fact when they announced the last ep it came as a shock bcz they could've easily dragged for 3 more eps min as audience were hooked but they choose not to and that's why ZPKB is the best drama of the year in my humble opinion.

Personally, the Best Writer of 2024 is Farhat Ishtiaq. Mustafa Afridi gave a fantastic year, but for me ZPKB was well-written as a whole, not for what it was intended to be. The drama was about a girl's strive for education, her struggle and her journey when the drama was intended to be on family planning and maternal health which it didn't expand upon and became somewhat of a side thought. The ending also became too idealistic and convinient. That became my biggest contention. Farhat Ishtiaq, even with my reservations for the accidental marriages, created a fantastic canvas of male insecurity and pressures along with female strength and the beautiful exploration. Best Director has to be Saife Hassan. He covered so many tracks and themes of poverty, child labour, education and political corruption was brilliant and handled it seamlessly without ignoring one for the other. His canvas was not restricted to a single household, rather the whole of Kaisar Kallan became a characetr of its own, where the directore showed us the vast fields, the flowing water and sunny days as brilliant.

I think fajar raza for burns road ke Romeo Juliet should be on the honorable mentions bcoz it started off really well , it was a typical boy and girl falling in love and then running away but the direction makes it appealing to watch , not to forget the amazing chasing sequence but that direction excellence is only for the first 15 episodes after that it gets dragged for no reason

ZPKB didn’t get promoted the way it should have been. Otherwise, a social drama getting popular isn’t common. Everyone who watched it, loved it. It just needed a little bit of push from the producers like Fahad went all out with the promotions

Best Writer : Farhat Ishtiaq for KMKT The only problem I had with ZPKB was that the drama was intended to be on family planning and maternal health which it didn't expand upon and focused more on a girl struggle to become a Doctor. On the other hand Farhat Ishtiaq focused on how one can deal with marital issues and struggles one faces after falling into an accidental marriage. Best Director: Syed Wajaht Hussian for Khae No matter what the story was about Syed Wajahat shot it so beautifully. All murder and fighting scenes were so well shot. Best Drama: KMKT Overall this drama had all the masala you need in a blockbuster show. It had drama, romance, story and great music.

YKS: I rate it as one of the most realistic,well executed with well rounded character development, photography location, and the brilliant acting of all the casts! I could relate to it, as I too worked in a rural hospital ( in an African country), and the hospital dilemmas and difficulties faced by these doctors working in a rural community were so real,especially when communities bring with them their non scientific beliefs and the plight of rural women’s access to basic ante natal care! the city side of the script was fast paced and so important to tell,how women can be used to destroy the reputation of a committed lawyer trying to fight corruption and bring criminals to book!

KMKT is my favourite watch this year for how well I was able to relate to the characters...From feeling their butterflies to grieving their loss and feeling genuinely happy for their togetherness,I literally lived the Seven stages of Love along with them in their journey...This show not only interested me towards the episodes but also kept me anticipated for the weekly reviews for how everyone had different opinions and how everything made sense at different levels.. The comment section of KMKT discussions deserves a special shoutout for how sensible, analytical and perspective the audience were..👏 It was not just sheer appreciation but a genuine contribution to the show..Every comment gave me a new lens to view a scene in different angle discovering something new everytime...Watching KMKT for 3 months combining all this was a mind-blowing experience in itself.. KMKT even with its flaws was my favorite of the year. Without going into what's objectively better, I genuinely haven't enjoyed a drama as much as I enjoyed KMKT in a very long time. Bestie Maya on script choices!Since Tere Bin,his two dramas were watched because of his sudden stardom with a ‘ trashy’ script of Tere Bin ( which was only salvaged via the two talented leads,),but both Mein and SMD are/ were agonisingly boring and uninteresting, but some people watched it for Wahaj,much as I watched Barazak because of my favourite male Pakistani actor Fawad Khan! I would choose farhat ishtiaq for the best writer BECAUSE I'm a reader and have read her books and when you write a book there's no director and then you are the director and writer who have to create scenes that people can imagine and she does that perfectly so as we have seen scenes from KMKT where there is so much attention to detail I would give credit to the writer because we've seen her do so good in books. So in conclusion 60% to 70% credit goes to her for the drama. And no I'm not saying the director was bad. (I felt like I was writing for an exam 😂😂).

I feel the writing had so much substance though it seems simple...It gave hundreds of perception and everything made sense...That's the victory of good and logical writing..The audience didn't just have appreciation for the show but analysis and breakdown of situations and character arcs,their back stories contributing to their change in behaviours and what not...Audience studied the drama at every levels..Ofcourse,Farhat Ishtiyaq is truly Brilliant!

Well I watched KMKT episodes as soon as they aired, whereas I gave up on ZPKB halfway. So for me KMKT was the clear winner across all categories. ZPKB was very good but it slowed down midway and lost some audience.

Though I felt Sharjeena's initial decision to marry Mustafa to satisfy societial standards was a blunder,but the way her character unfolded it made sense..She was a girl who had idealistic views in life..Perfect life,Perfect Partner,Sensible daughter,Forced to be brave,Stable carrier to fulfill all societial standards..She unlearned that preset limitations after exploring Mustafa's character..She realised that she caged herself in the burden of her own restrictions..She let go of everything...She even found happiness in an old apartment later where society may see them low, it didn't bother her at all because she has learnt that fulfillment comes from within and not by the approval of society...I see that as a growth of her character facilitated by him...Her optimistic nature and resilience in upbringing helped her to see Mustafa as the sign from the Universe or God for her to rely on as he showed up in her vulnerable time where everything seemed blocked..In this perspectives,Her decision to marry Mustafa makes absolute sense to me and I feel their journey was beautiful because of the way they was married..It was not forced,it was not a compromise..it was an Intuition..She was not obligated in the relationship but liberated..❤ The fact that he feels validated for being acknowledged by a girl begins his journey of growth facilitated by her makes it a divine connection...It may not work in reality,but as a fiction..I have no complaints in the way their whole journey began and evolved..It couldn't have been the other way❤ KMKT is my favourite watch this year and it will remain to be one of my favourites forever❤❤❤
