Jafaa: Why do our writers get amnesia while writing scripts. Andaleeb came back to see her daughter, but she never once mentioned her daughter with her mom or asked about her. Instead of asking her mom to go bring Anadil to her, her priority was getting her cousin married to her husband and went to see Zara to convince her for the marriage.

Sehar Khan's hold on the accent and her change of tone and voice modulation as Rabia is such a delight! So much potential in her that's unmatched in the young lot. This is the girl who delivered such worthy performances in GEO's 9pm soaps. Glad she got a script that is worthy of her talent!
@gerryburntwood96174 күн бұрын
She certainly was fantastic as Mapara( drama Rang Mahal), the frivolous young daughter of the Mahals servant who falls into disrepute then pulls herself together to extract revenge on the Master’s depraved elder son, and at the same time educate herself and become somebody.!well worth watching Seher she was marvellous in that drama, even though it went to 90 episodes!

Tan Man NeeloNeel stands out with a thrilling episode and terrific performances. I agree with Hassan that you don't get to see a glimpse of Umeed Pasha in Sehar as Rabi. Kudos to her for creating that accent and the body language is very natural and different. I think she deserves credit for it because even though Rabi is sunshine coded, she does not cross the boundary and appear annoying. I could not stop watching Nadia Afgan's scene when she cries. There is not a single weak performance in TMNON.
@moeezmufti35974 күн бұрын
TMNON: Such a tremendous start; from the very first scene and the brilliant dichotomy of happiness and fun with violence and brutality - showed how brilliant the duo if Mustafa Afridi and Saife Hasan is. It’s safe to say that Mustafa Afridi is the best male writer we have. The polar opposites of how asking for money is shown through violence and threats to negotiations and letting go. Where violence is more convincing than one’s honest work. Brilliant. The juggle of comedy while addressing an incredibly difficult and rarely shown issue of male assault is harrowingly captivating and not jarring. Sehar was really eased into the lively girl role while convincingly speaking with her accent. Just waiting for the next episode. Mustafa Afridi has given two brilliant dramas in a single year, and each script was different fro the other. Where our most "acclaimed" male writer writes the same old wine in new bottle, Mustafa Afridi has showcased his absolute versatility. Secondly, kudos to Aamna for beautifully and sensitively addressing the psychological and societal differences between the assault of a man and woman with nuance, and not simplistically.

Andaleeb is a perfect example of how financial independence can never guarantee you emotional maturity. And her parents hit a new low everytime. The audacity of Andaleeb's father to say, "hum ny Numair ko kia samjha aur wo kia nikla!!". Bro you are the one who thought your daughter was the culprit all the time you used Numair as an opportunity to hide your shame, guilt and disgrace. Numair and Zara's conversation was the highlight of the episode. It was well written, well executed and well performed by both the actors. That one conversation had more nuance and sensitivity than whole Andaleeb's and her parent's melodrama!!

Was blown away by TMNN, I haven't seen a more accurate representation of the power tussle, the hierarchical structure and the resulting behaviors between the men in our society. It's a great commentary on who sits on top of the food chain, how that male treats those below him in that chain, and how each individual actor than behaves with other members above n below himself, and then also the other individuals (the women) in their lives. It's fascinating to get a glimpse of the male psyche and social construct here, and what the men around us face

The first episode of TMNON was really impressive. From the very first scene, the story grabbed my attention and kept me hooked. Sehar Khan was amazing in her role as a KZbinr; she's such a versatile actress. I also loved the mother-daughter dynamic, their bond felt so natural and heartwarming. Plus, her pairing with Shuja worked really well; they had great on-screen chemistry. The episode started off light and fun, with enjoyable comedy, but then we were introduced to Salim Meeraj’s character, who completely changed the tone. His presence brought a dark intensity to the show. I was totally shocked by what he did to Sonu’s friend-it was so unexpected! I was expecting the show to be a bit more lighthearted, but that scene took everything in a much darker direction, leaving me stunned.

This trilogy by Sultana Siddique focusing on sensitive issues like mob lynching is truly remarkable. It's impressive that she chose to create a series specifically about mob lynching and it will always hold a special place. Sehar and Shuja have great chemistry. But the most shocking part was the sexual abuse of Sonu's friend (I don't remember his name). I was not expecting that. I thought Saleem Mairaj would beat him or scare him. Sehar as Rabi is fantastic she and Danaeer are definitely my top picks among the younger actors.

Faraar: the theme of this week’s episode was Karachi. The QIP goons were searching the city for Batish and in one of the areas they visited the tunnel beneath the billboard of Karachi: The City of Lights. Btw, that tunnel was Hamza’s favourite hangout in Pyare Afzal. In the next scene, Prof Hamdani talks about the light that is/has gone out of the city and turned to darkness due to the crimes that are happening. In another scene, Babrik’s father is asking him to go to Karachi. That was so beautifully woven into the dialogues. There’s a lot of nuance in the narrative esp the conversation between Sadia and her father. In a way, they are predicting the stories that will unfold in later episodes.

Amna is partly correct, alcohol is used partly to warm up, but that alone is not enough. Women wear woolen skirts and leggings during winters. People generally layer up as that keeps you warm too, like clothing with wind breakers and warm woolen sweaters and coats. Btw giving brandy to children was somewhat common in Pakistan in the past. Both my mum and dad were given a tiny bit of brandy during the coldest winter days.

No one makes you 50-50 partner when you have absolutely zero experience professional experience as Game Developer working at actual Game Studio! The entire Mustafa rags to riches track was rushed, farfetched and superficial. This why you as critics and reviewers should stay objective and call out every thing equally so later you dont risk coming across as a hypocrite and having to swiftly change the subject! There are plenty of such women in real life who don't think of motherhood so deeply, are frivolous, and will think about their baby with a lot of emotion at one time but will totally forget about him/her the next second. She is too immature to handle motherhood in all seriousness. The problem is that we are being shown this as a contrast to Numair doubting her. It's like being asked to pick the lesser of two evils. What Numair did was terrible but the narrative is being twisted in such a way that the most progressive and feministic person would recommend Andaleeb to forget it and move on. You should continue with the review of gair. We enjoy it more than the drama. Usha is a very bad actor. She doesn't know how to do emotional scenes at all. I don't feel any pain for her character, please don't call her a good actor. If she was a good actor she would have focused on her craft more than on her Looks. Good actors are like taboo, smitha patil, Sanam baloch, aamna sheikh and many others. Jaffa drama has fallen from Grace. Looks like the writers have changed after writing 80% of the script and the remaining script is now being written by different writers who are writing one sentence each and this is why the story is going in 10 different directions. Very sad 😮

I know it's difficult but you need to distract yourself from it. The more you think about it the worse it feels. Listen to white noise audio when you think it's getting worse - you'll find plenty on KZbin. But the only real solution is to stop thinking about it; Insha Allah you will feel better -- Hassan

@@SomethingHautevery true....i also have this problem often n when i focus so much on it it gets worse n when i try to neglect it by thinking something gud or doing something . It really works.

*Faraar* was amazing as usual ❤ loving the male leads, Hamza , AAA and Daniyal, Mamiya was okay, the side characters are also doing well. I appreciate the buildup before a bang and loving the subtle storytelling, so I'm so excited for all of them to meet. Overall an excellent series ❤

1. SIKANDAR ka muqadar’s end seems to be kept like this for a possible sequel 2. SIKANDAR’s name is Avinash Tiwary. He was hero in laila majnu with Tripti Dimri in 2018 & has been part of many films since 2018.

The pace of Faraar needs to be increased or it will dip like Duniya Pur. I am waiting for the characters from different tracks, to come together to make their escape. The actual story would begin from there. Till now, with the exception of Batisht, others show no consequences leading to that development. In fact, the other tracks were hardly shown in the last two episodes.
@fayzahabeeb40934 күн бұрын
Also it should have 2 episodes, would really increase it's TRP ratings. Similarly Duniyapur should have 2 episodes per week.

I completely agree with Hasan, the frustration and anger he feels about Jafaa. I feel exactly the same!! Its so annoying to watch it anymore. The way the show nose dived is beyond my understanding. All those cudve been avoided so easily. Nothing makes sense anymore there! Glad it'll end soon. Faraar, at times like Hasan said, it does feel boring and dragged, but somehow its keeps me interested. They are moving in a slow but yet an interesting kinda pace. Neelo neel, WOW WHAT A FIRST EPISODE! An exceptional and brilliantly written show. i never thought by the promos, it would be anything like this. I'm speechless after watching the first episode. I agree with Aamna here, that it was one of the best opening episodes of any show in recent times, even Mann Jogi. Absolutely a MUST WATCH show💯!!!
