It’s so interesting how the cutting goes through phases. First it looks “yikes”, then you take a little more off and it looks good, then a little more “yikes!”, and then the end result is great! I hope you are doing better now.

Love the cut, but my head is flat in the back.

Hello Maryjane. Thank you for your comment. Is your thin or thick? If your hair is thin, you have to use the longest guard, #12. If your hair is thick, you can use guard #10, but remember to go down with it. If it is too thin, it is best to pull up and cut with the top. It seems a lot to trouble shoot. Good luck, and thank you for the question.

OHHHHH MY GOSHHHHHH!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I absolutely adore you and this fabulous video!!! What a talented talented person you are!!!! I have a question for you ..at the top back crown I have it about an inch and I want the back part right below it to kind of match it & be spiky .... Should i go down with my clipper on that particular part or can I use a guard and go half a head up to that top 1inch....With maybe a number four???
@sharingwithserynaАй бұрын
Thank you for your comment. Guard # 8 will give you 1 inch. Guar #4 will give 1/2 an inch. Guard #10 will give you 1.5 inch. You should try guard #10 first because you can always cut it shorter. If it seems long, then you can go down with number 8. I think number 4 will be too short.

This hairdresser (for 20euros) cut my hair - he says besause of my fringe - even if I say and say don't think about this fringe AND I have so short Hair now.... I was upset but... It's only hair and they grow.... So I pay him butavery evening When I fall sleeping I'm touching my hair because of my barrette I used to put on my hair.... But she is not On my head NOW..... And I'm thinking You are Sick and I feel so sorry for You and I wish you to get well quickly and get as well as possible very Soon.... Because I find You so Beautyful and You have such a funny way to get such Great and Funny Hair!!!!! As I don't like the back of my hair I'm got to use The way you Trimmed and shaved Your hair so easily!!!!! And so Nicely.... Sorry for using so much Air.... But I like You so Much and Thank You For your beauty and strength And I wich You The Best and Wonderfull Futur Dear Seryna!!!!! Thank you for your comment. Short hair is beautiful for many reasons. I don't have to work with it much. I use less shampoo. I can get up and go. I gel or blow dry it and it goes whatever way, which gives me different styles. Short hair is not for old people. Short hair is fun!

Loved the video I am thinking of doing this I just wanted to say I get this pain in my jaw neck and ear it’s horrid taking Omeprazole for it helps a lot I have acid reflux I hope you get an answer I haven’t had one really In 14 years. Would Comb 7 make a longer clip please?
@sharingwithseryna3 ай бұрын
Thank you for commenting and sharing your story. The longest clip is #12, which will leave your hair about 1.5 inches. I hope that will work for you and good luck. I never thought Omeprazole help with the pain on the neck and ear. Sometimes, I get that too. I will try to see that will help me because everyone is different. Again, thank you so much for reaching out.

@sharingwithseryna6 ай бұрын
Yes, I do. I have a part-time teaching job and with fibromyalgia condition. I get so tired and that is the reason I haven't uploaded much of anything. Yes, the first step was scary but if you practice enough you will get used to it. You also know where to leave it longer too. I am glad that you tried it. Now, everything is so expensive, that cutting your own hair is one expense that you can cut out of your budget. Thank you for your comments.

@sharingwithseryna8 ай бұрын
Hello, please use a large clipper because you can cut it shorter later. At first, you might make a mistake here and there, but if you continue to try and pay attention to your hair. You can make it as beautiful as you want. It is about knowing your hair. Which side of the hair wants to pop up or lay flat. Do you have a cowlick? You need to leave the hair longer, so it doesn't stick out. Have fun and have a lot of patience first.

@@AACE73 Not yet. The last hairdresser almost scalped me bald, so I'm leaving it to grow more than the inch I have on my head. She wasn't amused when I said, I would have to leave it. She had already booked me in for two more cuts. I don't need to pay anyone to make a mess, I can make a mess and save myself a small fortune. Have you tried this yet?🤗

Hello, with fine hair, you want to go to the largest guard, number 20. It will leave you about 21/2 in length, and always try the bottom hair up in the back to see if it will work for you. Good luck. Thank you for your comment.
@delfinadiem315810 ай бұрын
@sharingwithseryna the highest guard number I have is 8 ,
@sharingwithseryna10 ай бұрын
Guard #8 will leave your hair only 1 inch, which might be too short. However, if you have fine hair and a lot of it, then it might work. The best time to test your hair is during the summer. It will grow faster than the winter. I hope you find this useful. @@delfinadiem3158
