You'll need the correct video drivers and keyboard remapper. Consult the forums on reddit. I won't offer support for a hacked Chromebook because I am no expert on them. Ask someone who is more seasoned.

Not the one's I own. I completely restored this one and an 87' as well. This was several years back and my kids have moved on to others. Yes. That card is 266.75mm and the case will take up to a 340mm GPU.

2012 fusion temp gauge goes hot and heat works intermittently. Purged air from bleeder valve, and got heat back. Next day same issues again! Changed thermostat and still issues. Had pressure test done and no leaks. They got a huge air pocket out, and heat worked so good i was sweating. Its below zero rn and two days later no heat again and now blower motor shut off and wont turn on. Im so stressed and confused...idk what to even do or check for now.

On this model, no, the drive is soldered onto the board, however, I have heard of people getting adapters for the wifi slot and putting extra drives there. Caveat is you lose onboard wifi and bluetooth.

Dude gives pertinent details in his reply to 7475thomas . Heater resistor, under dash near firewall and his problem is the BLOWER, not the temperature of the air coming out. Im gonna keep looking.

Yes, you'll for sure want to give it at minimum 8, my honest opinion 16 should be the minimum these days. Might as well, while you have it opened up, upgrade that memory as high as it will go. CPU is optional but an SSD will make a night and day difference.

I'm willing to compromise on the speaker aspect because monitor speakers suck. You can minimize wires by using bluetooth speakers.

Fan Blower Motor Resistor, it can be found on the passenger side under the dash by the firewall. You'll be able to trace a couple of the wires to the blower itself.

@@phreakwarsthe USB C port, I am a computer noob and I was messing around with my PC when I bent the pins inside the USB C 2.0/3.0 port. I was worried and I had some tech install a new AIO cooler, PSU and isolate the port. He charged me 285 for all that. I’m not sure, if there was a huge risk in having a short circuit occur in my pc, I was trying to install new parts on my own when I messed up the port.

I found that I have enough spare parts to build a Win 10 PC at practically no cost. I was inspecting my motherboard when I discovered several bent pins on the front panel header. I fiddled with it for a while, wondering what kind of tool would work best to straighten those pins. I decided to go to Amazon and look for small needle-nose pliers. I decided to check out KZbin first to see if anyone had a better idea. There are a zillion videos on how to straighten bent cpu pins but not so many showing how to fix bent header pins. After several tries, I finally found your video. It was exactly what I was looking for. I used your technique and got the header pins nice and straight again. Otherwise, I would probably have scrapped my board. THANK YOU.
