I just put together an optiplex 3000 i5-12500 with rx 6400 and 32 gb ddr 4. I upgraded the power suplly to avoid worry. I want to add rgb. I want this rgb. Identical case. What do i order where?!

I have the Mini Tower 3080. I have changed the RAM as it was 1 stick of 8GB only. Now it is 2x8GB of the same type (Hynix). The RAM is DDR4 2666, so why is it being clocked at half that speed? What am I missing here? I also wanted to swap the cooler. It looks like the backplate for the cooler is the side-panel of the case, Bummer! 3mm screw slots I think. Unsure of my options here to fit a better cooler. At the moment all I ended of doing was cleaning out the crap & dust from the cooler & re-pasting it.

I'm glad to see that these cards work well on a 200w PSU. I just got a thinkcentre desktop with a 210w PSU and was worried because the single slot low profile cards I've seen have been recommending 300-350w minimum PSU.

He pushed it to the absolute limit. It will never go there in normal use, even running the most demanding game you can get. I have a Optiplex 3060 with a i5 8500 and an RX6400 and 3 SSD drives. I have a wattmeter similar to the one shown in this video and the all time wattage record was 112 watts, running RDR2 with 99% CPU and 99% GPU. I did disable Turbo Boost though, since it makes the CPU overheat on the standard CPU cooler, and it runs too noisy for my taste. Still run RDR2 at 60 FPS, and Cyberpunk over 100 FPS on 1080 with frame gen, so it's fine by me.

Nice. Is the CPU fan using a bespoke dell port, or can it handle any normal 4-pin PWM fan?

on mine I put a GT 1030 LOW PROFILE but what I do not like that does not have a heatsink on the chipset and also no fan connector for the front pannel.

I5-10505 should be an upgrade for this computer maybe the next one will be. I love the rgb because my kids love it.

I say whatever one can afford that runs in the 65 watt or lower range in the 10th gen would be fine. Nice thing about a dedicated GPU is you aren't confined to just iGPU CPU's. That expands typical upgrade options for various budgets. What I do with the next couple is really up to the guy I'm selling them off for, I'm personally up for anything.

For sure!! I thought of tossing one in, but considering the price and power requirements, didn't wanna chance overloading the PSU. In hindsight, I should have said to hell with it and tried anyways.
