Dire Straits was an exceptional band and Mark Knopfler remains the best musician and poet in the world in my opinion

Kansas is by far and away my FAVORITE band & has been since they released their first album in 1974. Kerry Livgren is the finest musician, composer, orchestrator and lyricist. May I suggest Journey from Mariabronn, Song for America, and The Wall. Thanks. The next 3: Belexes, Miracles out of Nowhere, and Hopelessly Human

Yes! Ringo is one of the most undercredited drummers. By his own admission in an interview, he stated he was not a great technical drummer, but that he had perfect rhythm. Because of that he gave us some of the most profound drum sequences.

We love this band. It's too bad that it's so hard to find reactions to BRATS, even if you search for them. We regularly search for BRATS reactions that we haven't seen before, and yours appeared in the search results for the first time today, over a year after you uploaded this video. If you are still interested in the band, we recommend their very experimental song Spiderweb, which is a masterpiece in our opinion. You should also take a look at the best all-female metal band Japan has to offer, Hanabie. Hanabie's reaction classic is We Love Sweets, but if you prefer a more current song we can recommend Otaku Lovely Densetsu.

Criminal that this didn't make a huge impression, I have always loved this record and hold on to the original vinal with all my might. And a mistake for you to not follow up with side two.

I don't know why people insist on remixing classic songs and albums. The original is usually the best. The best mix of this song was released in 1966.

Like most “one hit wonders” my pops loved and hated this song. In a time of album rock, the rest of the albums never got much attention from local radio. Although they never toured overseas, they were popularized by military presence in Europe and east Asia. Tesla probably had the most notable cover of a BR song with their version of Children’s Heritage. Thanks for keeping BR music out there for new people to experience (even if it is DOA 😂)!!

Go back 2 more songs to "Everybody's got Something to hide cept me and my Monkey",!! Also hey bulldog!, helter skelter was originally a blues song on rarities until Pete Townsend opened and shot his mouth off about the launching rock and roll song ever! Paul heard the interview and turned it up!!!

If i could ask Paul one question it would be; why the fade out/fade in at the end? There is a meaning to that.

It's Lennon's song, but everyone else made his own contributions. McCartney was big on using similar tape manipulation to musique concrète, and George Martin helped them get what they wanted. Ringo's drum pattern is derived in part from him being a lefty playing a right-handed kit, and largely because he was all about the song, every time. Brilliant. By the way, this was recorded on a 4-track analog tape machine. Amazing.

I agree, the 3 Eric Bell albums, the first 3 are my favourite era since I found them. Not the most balanced albums maybe, Vagabonds probably the most balanced of the 3, not all songs having a sense of direction maybe, but there is also the most brilliance.

A simply superb piece of music, a real church organ was used and played by Thijs van Leer on this track (St Mary the Virgin Barnes England I believe) Also the drummer on the Hamburger Concerto album was Colin Allen who had replaced Pierre van der Linden after his departure from Focus.

Big fan of ELO. The Face the Music album sleave was banned in some states in the USA because it showed a hand on the arm of the electric chair that appeared to be burning. I was able to get an album with this sleave image. I wish I had kept it.

His Colosseum II stuff is Jazz Rock, and he basically had to relearn the guitar, in his own words, after he joined the band. His playing with those guys, and there's live tracks on KZbin, is just mind blowing. The Inquisition in particular is amazing.

Ain't no band who writes, plays and performs like Band-Maid! While I've watched Magie climb from an initial 6, when I first heard it, to a 7 and now an 8 (taken from a recent survey of my cerebral musical cortex ;-), I always appreciate the execution, sound and, once again, performance of all their songs... even starting with "Made In Japan," released in 2014 when I first became entranced with the Magical Maids. Thx, PoHe!

Nice work looking into bands you haven't heard of - most has been said below so can't really add to it, but Joy Division - the name has a very dark origin although I am questioning that as I never looked it up. x

Yeah, as said below, this song featured heavily in the first 15 minutes of Scream. All of Nick's stuff is worth checking out, but I adore 'Murder Ballads' ymmv of course. Scum from his earlier proto-punk band 'the birthday party' is also a gem. Nice work. x

Great song. Should've shot straight up to No. 1 on the charts, but it's too cynical I guess. It's tough when a band talks truth to people ..
