Great exercise. Started practicing this penetration exercise yesterday with my son because it was recommended on a course. Could see this being a good exercise with a weight vest too.

Great video and explanation that included both the how and the why of each exercise. I will try these and the progressions. I firmly believe that exercises should be compound and functional and you delivered both of these. I wish you well.

Wrestling management not good, all cheating in wrestling, the refree always being diverted mostly all cheaters in Wrestling, there should be two refree to see who is cheating or reverse the video,this is very ungreatful to see the cheaters win, so pls keep two refree ok

Hi! How many hours of training per week can a 7 year old child who wants to perform in this sport do? I ask to know what is the limit over which it can reach exhaustion. Thank you!
@geoffreypoirier67738 ай бұрын
Hi, I coach a k-8 team in RI. We train 2 days per week, plus competition. So the young ones are getting 4 hours of practice plus a tournament from November through March.

Some factors in wrestling match endurance. It helps to be in good shape, from wrestling in bursts and longer sparing with others, preferably more than one other sparring partner, in case they get tired. Wind sprints Distance runs with both fast and slow mixed. Calisthenics Weight lifting, don’t ignore core strength, neck strength, hip and leg strength, grip strength If you are stronger than opponent then all else being equal, they will get tired before you Develop high skill level scoring moves If you are high skill level, then you will not gas as quickly. Freestyle rules while on feet help keep stallers from resting by stepping out of bounds. Unfortunately Freestyle rules on mat sometimes allow both wrestlers to rest while on mat-unless the top man has enough skill and strength to turn bottom man for points. If you pressure the opponent and actively fight entire match, and are in better shape, you can sometimes win matches, overtaking opponent in last couple minutes of match. I’ve been in matches, I was outclassed by better wrestlers and defeated them in last minute, after losing first part of match. And I have died or gassed in last few minutes of matches, I was ahead on score, and was blitzed as time ran out. I ran out of gas--hahaha

Brother, you've spent a over a minute before you get to it. Good insights but please get straight to point or put timestamps. Some of us would much rather immediately hear the reason we're here for than listen to the filler stuff.

Unfortunately youtube has moved to a system that disincentivies brevity. Watch time as a metric leads to longer videos.
