I'm from London, this makes zero sense. TFL already has an app and a website that helps you plan and its way more effective then Google Maps will ever be with this. Plus if you claim "its for the vibe" It's amongst the dullest places in london and is NOT aesthetic.

Well this is complete nonsense. They are nowhere near being taken off the road, they are actually midway through a refurbishment program, and most have been retrofitted with camera mirrors! Secondly the 15H (which was a special heritage duplicate of a section of the 15 route running Routemasters) was withdrawn about 3 years ago during Covid, so no Routemasters are still in use on TfL services, even though before that the last Routemasters were withdrawn in 2005!

Might want to have the map the correct way up because for pub 7 it is upside down, with Peckham being north of the river when it's south.

Few of these houses are now owned by Locals, mostly foreign owners who keep them as "bolt holes" where they can escape to when their home country goes rogue.

An old friend of mine and her husband own a 3 bed duplex penthouse right next to the millenium bridge. Directly opposite the Tate Modern with St Pauls lit dome illuminating their roof terrace. Too polite to ask (but always wondered) what the price tag was for such a prime position directly on the Thames!.

Hayling Island, as a former local there was no such thing during the summer weekends and holidays as popping out to the mainland and back as there is a traffic jam backed all the way to the main road. Glad I don't live there anymore.

If i'm paying £19m for a house, i want my nearest neighbours to be 2, or 3 miles away, not through the wall. I'm wanting a good chunk of land, not a postage stamp back garden(if you're lucky). House prices in cities such as London are complete rip off's.

Probably the ones overflowing with migrants. UK schools are only 65% natives now.

The Northern Line was named after the never completed northern heights plan. Had it been fully completed, there would've been branches to Northampton and Coventry, with hopes to then extend them through Birmingham and Leicester, aiming to eventually reach Manchester and York. Unfortunately, due to the north south divide, the plans were heavily curtailed, hence why the line is the network's most southerly beanch instead, nearly reaching Surrey, just to spite the northerns a bit more.
