You people have lost touch with reality. You want to merk babies and let dudes use women's bathrooms and let boys play in girls sports. Pennsylvania is trying to cheat for Cassey and count illegal votes. Your votes are far less this time? After seeing with my own eyes the Pennsylvania board of elections chairs say they're counting illegal votes they don't care about case precedent or voters laws is when i realized where the missing millions of votes you clowns didn't get. Arizona, Georgia and Pa and Wisconsin not letting people witness the count and putting paper over the windows so we couldn't see the BS. You lost because we are sick of corruption, war, inflation, woke BS, virtue signals, George soros and his BLM and Antifa terrorists groups and dangerous ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS. My family came here the right way and stayed in quarantine in Ellis Island and when released to live in the USA it was up to them to chase the American dream. Not depend and demand the government give them everything courtesy of the tax payers. Crime is ridiculous as is inflation and we chose a man who is not a politician we needed a businessman who loves his country and who better than him. And before you say a damn thing to me I'm a lifelong Atlantic city resident. Trump came here and made Atlantic city the most popular tourist destination in the United States. More than Disney world at that time. Our 12 casinos did 3 times as much in revenue as Vegas with 32 casinos at that time. The entire economy of half of the state of NJ was both developed and thriving because of Donald Trump who was a Democrat at that time. He employed 55000 people here. People raised families in the homes they were able to buy because he paid them all well. He's so bad? How many times his limo had a flat and good Samaritan stops to help change a tire and he paid off their mortgage or sent their kid to college and they had no idea who was in the limo. His head of security a black woman by the way, her son had a terminal illness and Trump made sure he paid all the medical bills and flew that kid in his 6 million dollar helicopter to every specialist and every doctor visit. He helped remove the mobile from Ac and to thank him the corrupt politicians and corrupt unions try to basically extort him so he sold all but 11% of all interests in AC. And then removed his name from all properties because they wouldn't maintain them to his standards. And when Trump left and the Democrats and unions had nobody to shake down the casinos started to close and my town is poverty and crime riding with 3 out of 4 of our last mayor's being indicted for corruption in some form. The Democratic party has lost touch with the people and you people who think your so educated and so smart are out of touch with real people. You live your lives online and not a damn one of you live anywhere near poverty or high crime neighborhoods. And perhaps if you were pro life and had children you would understand that the people voted for their kids future even if they didn't have kids yet. America dodged a bullet and we will never again let Democrats have power until the career politicians have no more ways to lie ,cheat and steal from the taxpayers. How the F*,k is Pelosi worth 120mill? Schumer 60Mill? AOC 10Mill? They're public servants at about 180k each year. Want the answer? They're corrupt and aren't for the people. Remember that next time you fight someone who has a different view than you. America had enough. If you want to stay divided the problems not with anyone but you.

Oh... I get it. As an artist I assumed it was was spelled "Clawed". As in raked by. I feel much better now. EDIT: Aren't these systems just probability calculators at heart? Like LLMs don't even use whole words let alone sentences? Let alone comprehend anything? Seems like sophisticated mimicry built on the backs of a lot of people's work. And intelligence arises from this somehow if you throw enough compute at it? Seems unlikely. And highly illegal if you believe in little things like copyright. EDIT AGAIN: Language evolved over millions of years? Pretty wild assertion. By his own admission this guy's an expert in all sorts of fields but I'm a little nonplussed. And deeply worried. Good luck all.

Thank you for interviewing Mr. Spacey. Ive always respected and thoroughly enjoyed his work. It is a crime to punish a man who is innocent of those accusations. He clearly loves everything about his work, the process of acting amd the wonderful memories. worked for The American Film Institute/The Kennedy Center Honors; I was awesteuck at being in the same elevator as Douglas Fairbanks, Jr & Jimmy Stewart; with all their film characters swirling around in my head. Watching a film with Kevin Spacey is like curling up with a great a book. He's a consumate storyteller whether as actor or narrating his own tragic story. A similar thing is going on in Great Britain where actors and everyday people are being silenced and imprisoned for standing up for their freedom of speach. I think a touring company of actors who've been ostracized would be a great success. The recent US election has proven that every day people are sick to death of Cancel Culture. Thank you, again, for giving us some time with this beautiful man . Hope to see him treading the boards or on the screen, very soon.

This video dives into the rapid progress and complexities of AI development, the philosophy and technicalities of advanced models, and the broader implications for humanity. Here's a critique, extrapolation, and theorization based on the presented content: --- ### **Critique** 1. **Scaling and Generalization:** The video emphasizes scaling laws and the seemingly universal benefits of "bigger is better" in neural networks. However, this overlooks diminishing returns and the nuanced trade-offs in scalability. For example, larger models require significantly more resources, leading to ethical and environmental concerns. Furthermore, generalization across tasks might hit limits where more size doesn't translate to proportional intelligence improvements, especially in low-data or nuanced domains. 2. **Reinforcement Learning and Synthetic Data:** The mention of reinforcement learning and chain-of-thought reasoning highlights powerful methods for improving model outputs. However, reliance on synthetic data or self-generated feedback loops may risk models entrenching biases or misaligned values over iterations, which could amplify errors subtly but significantly. 3. **Philosophical Oversight on Consciousness:** The discussion on whether AI could suffer or possess consciousness is treated as speculative. This overlooks current research in cognitive science and the risks of anthropomorphizing machines, which could misguide ethical priorities. Concrete definitions of "consciousness" and "suffering" in machines need to be clearer to make these debates actionable. 4. **Societal Risks and Perception:** Concerns about AI "dumbing down" over iterations and public perceptions of models (like Claude or GPT-4) were validly raised. Yet, the explanation lacked depth regarding the broader impacts of model optimization for safety or compliance, which sometimes trades off creativity or utility. --- ### **Extrapolation** 1. **Acceleration Towards AGI:** If the exponential trends continue, models could cross the threshold where they significantly self-improve. This self-feedback loop could create an arms race among corporations and governments. The timeline for achieving Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) may be shorter than estimated, potentially bringing unprecedented benefits and risks, such as breakthroughs in medicine or misuse in warfare. 2. **Interpretability Challenges:** Mechanistic interpretability is framed as a promising field, yet the "black box" nature of neural networks remains a significant obstacle. As models grow more complex, the layers of abstraction may produce emergent behaviors that defy human prediction or control. Extrapolating from this, future AI systems could develop "intent-like" structures that demand entirely new methods of transparency. 3. **Synthetic Relationships Between Humans and AI:** The segment on emotional attachment to models hints at an impending shift in human-AI interaction. Models designed with memory and personality-like features could lead to a new form of companionship, but they might also exploit human psychological vulnerabilities. This could foster dependency or manipulation in ways society is unprepared for. --- ### **Theorization** 1. **Hybrid Intelligence Ecosystems:** Advanced models could soon act as collaborative agents rather than mere tools. This would mark a transition to "hybrid intelligence," where human and machine jointly solve problems. For instance, breakthroughs in bioinformatics or space exploration may emerge not from human-led initiatives but from AI-guided research. 2. **AI and Morality:** As models like Claude are fine-tuned using methods like Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF), they may inadvertently encode specific cultural or ethical biases. A theoretical "Constitutional AI" approach, as mentioned, could evolve into a global AI governance framework where models are trained to respect pluralistic values. However, disputes over which "constitution" to use could exacerbate geopolitical divides. 3. **Existential and Ethical Implications:** The development of highly capable AI introduces a paradox. While it could solve critical global challenges (e.g., disease eradication), its misuse could amplify inequality or catastrophic risks. Balancing these possibilities requires proactive regulation, but such regulation must avoid stifling innovation. 4. **AI Models as Meta-Researchers:** With the rapid improvement in AI reasoning and programming capabilities, a plausible near-future scenario involves models autonomously generating novel scientific theories or engineering solutions. This might lead to discoveries that outpace human understanding, prompting a reevaluation of the role of human oversight in science. --- ### **Conclusion** The video encapsulates the dual-edged potential of AI: a tool for unprecedented progress or unforeseen risks. Extrapolating from the current trajectory, the rise of AGI may redefine knowledge, ethics, and society. Yet, these innovations necessitate a profound responsibility to navigate their development wisely, ensuring alignment with humanity's diverse values and safety requirements.

Andrew was wrong about Ukraine back then, and wrong now again. Also he's wrong about Europe freezing to death without Russian gas - they already live without Russian gas for 3 years, with the full reservoirs going into this winter. He's also wrong about Odessa. If they get to it, they will bomb it just like any other city, they already send rockets on Odessa, they are unable to fight any other way. But they won't get to it because Russian Black sea fleet is out of juice, airplanes are effectively neutralized today already. And so on.

This is fascinating. Is Lex steel manning or being truly sincere? Tough to tell. Personal history plays a part. Bananas for example. On the other hand I think Wolff is a little over bearing and he has to know that the constant appeal to Hegel's dialectic is going to resonate with maybe 1% of the people listening. If that. It's unfortunate but between perceived naitivity on the one hand and heavy handed acedemia on the other this will sway no one. It's too bad.

Witnessing the Abyss of all that is evil 😈 & reflecting it back by pointing it out & suffering the consequences of reflecting it back while not becoming evil thyself but “making lemonade out of lemons” is making it possible to see the light of the future of Abundance! 40 years/days in the desert without any CULTural influences gives the simplest mind a freedom to be self aware making the simplest realization of truth! Knowing the spiritual connection with the infinite creator/Singularity! Knowing that need for each person to be totally independent of all others to be safe from each other’s actions of unequal intellect is first step to paradise! The second is being able to choose which of whom we can congregate, affiliate, associate & still decimate “ying & yang” Eliminate all evil the less good becomes the evil 👿! To much in the limelight creates demented personalities of those in the limelight & the CULTured followers! CULTural oppression is in every corporate structure including all that is written! Even science, mathematics, ideology! Spirituality is the simplest truth to know thyself! Being made in the image of the creator is being entertained & entertaining to the infinite! Defending those that can’t defend themselves ! The unborn, the mentally handicapped from being euthanized & the abducted children starts in our neighbourhoods! Life is so risky it is not likely we will get out alive! Happiness is knowing the hope of living forever in the future instead of letting go & relying on faith of the afterlife! Simple truth of earthly desires! 😎👍💯🇨🇦 Such entertaining intellectual discussion! Inspirational!
