It's extremely similar to the TSA Mantra, I think it's a little more understable, but it doesn't really want to burn over as much either (so long as you give it the height). I've been using it as pushing BH turnover shots, since it just seems to have a glide rating of like 8. It's hard to get this thing to not have a late fade, which for wooded courses like I have around me, it's a great slot to have in the bag. The mantra wants to flip more immediately, or have a lagging flip up to flat, where the Shift will go flat, then gently hold that turn forever. It's an extremely useful disc, but not a max distance disc, for me anyways. It's just an insanely useful tool to have.

Dope. I’ve just got back into disc golf after like 7-8+ years off. I’m familiar with discraft, innova, latitude 64. Is MVP a new brand? Never was super into it, just played a couple local tourneys

@2Jaaaamez I believe it's a newer brand, definitely not nearly as old as Discraft or Innova! They're pretty established though, like Latitude 64 and Dynamic Discs. This year they have both Eagle McMahon and Simon Lizotte on their team too so they're doing well!

@@davidshaheen841 As Caleb said, Renegades Trail in Michigan! The #2 Udisc course in MI, and I played the amateur weekend of the CCR the week before some of the pros played the courses. I had a bad first round lol

Can you use a driver twice or do you have to switch to a mid on the second throw?

You can use whatever disc you please at any point! You can even drive with a putter, then putt with a driver. There are definitely circumstances where it's "best" to use a driver vs a mid or putter, but it's really about what disc you trust to get the distance and hit the line you need.

@billbittick I almost said how similar it is to a Roadrunner. I've also had a very flippy Heat that had a similar flight. Definitely depends on the plastic and how beat in it is, but I would say they compare!
