More tips Making a grow lamp on ferile soil is more power efficent than hydroponics, also the plants dont die if you have a power cut. Having seperate power grids is typicallt more efficent. A lot of stuff dont need.power at night time. Also in decrease the effect of shorts.. Having heating in coridors or conecting rooms are more power and component efficent than on in every room Dont make heaters and coolers for heatwaves or cold. Have a pile of wood in every heat space and simple build a fire or a cooler when needed.

Breakers have 2/3 moves they also have a backhand or punch if your close to them. Survivor mode ammo does become a bit scarcer until u get 2 saddlebags I've ran outta ammo before hehe on survivor 2 atm. Should put disclaimer this is normal or hard survival as survivor is harder. Best way killing a rager is use a car to maneuver round it while shooting it

Years later the majority (not quite all) of the glitches have been fixed. It is a great game and well worth playing, especially since you can get it cheap now.

Pasting the settings of multiple butcher tables or other stuff like drawers, you can just double click one butcher table to select them all, and then paste the settings to all at once instead of one by one like in the video

I post this tip in all the videos I see because I think it's quite useful but never mentioned. If you like to place farms exactly on fertile terrain, use your fertility overlay, but also use the Planning Zone tool so you can mark exactly where the fertile tiles are, and see that at any time even while the overlay is off. This also helps you to see if odd-visual crops like rice or hay are actually planted on a specific tile. The Planning Zone persists through plants/harvests (as opposed to building and other tasks where it disappears) so you can rely on it always being there. In general, if a tile's bounds are ever vague and you want something resembling a 'grid', just use Planning Zone.

Note on the tip about capturing pawns: Methods of incapacitation by non lethal means are utterly ineffective once you push past the games population intent. There is no higher chance for downing via blunt weapons. At a certain population level the game automatically rolls for death on downed no matter what. This tip is patently false. There are currently almost no reliable methods to down pawns without killing them at high population as of 1.5 Edit: Also wanna clarify no shade intended it's just one of those things a lot of people seem to think somewhat incorrectly. Blunt weapons dont inflict bleed but any source of damage (even burn as of 1.5) rolls for death once a pawn is downed now. Luckily we have ideology join events and gene bats to print pawns now
