When I use the Blender Video Sequence Editor and I alpha images over each other, even if they are the same colour, there is an outline around the image or object. This video explains the outline around an image and explains how to fix the border around the object.
It looks like an antialiasing problem, and there are workarounds using alpha and antialiasing, but there is an easier solution by turning your image from SRGB to a different file source. I used Raw, but you can try others.
This outline problem occurs when I alter an image, such as when I scale an image. This solution may also work if you if have black border around scaled strip with alpha over, and if the colours look wrong when you place two images with the same colour on top of each other.
