@TurboKitscom yeah I have a 2650 kit on my tundra. Boost wakes the truck up especially with a re-gear. The only thing i don't like is the transmission is so slow it's almost like you have to do a shift kit to keep up with all the RPM. My truck puts out only 87% Duty Cycle on stock 535cc injectors stock pulley at 6k RPM and you already notice the trans in these trucks does not keep up with the power.

Do you have to run methanol injection? And if so how often are you having to refill the tank?
@TurboKitscomАй бұрын
Stage 1 it's suggested, since there isn't an intercooler. Stage 2 it's optional since there is an intercooler. Water meth usage really depends on how much you are in boost, since it's fires only in boost. So you technically could drive forever without filling it, f you didn't boost. A general idea is usually about 1 gal of meth, every 2-3 fuel fill ups. You can get Boost Juice from Snow Performance from a variety of places. Or you can get a 5gal container of 100% meth and mix it yourself. It's really not that expensive or time consuming to use.
@gruntcandy9558Ай бұрын
That’s what I do, it’s cheaper to make your own meth because after one or two batches it covers supply costs.

Recently bought one, installed it and did the whoosh sound when reving but it stopped the next day. Only does it while driving obviously white the boost created but i wonder what made it stoped working just by reving it
@TurboKitscomАй бұрын
Since it purely spaces out the factory bypass valve to allow the whooshing noise. It does not have any mechanical function that can / cannot work. Typically, especially in Normal and ECO mode the factory ECU is not as crisp on the throttle inputs, so when you rev and let off, it allows the throttle body to hang open for a second, and makes the BOV whoosh sound much less pronounced, but when you are in Sport mode it crisps up the throttle, allowing for a more forceful venting. You can also check to make sure the orings have seated properly and that the bolts are torqued down 100%.

If you put an intake on it, will it still have that whistle? The cars in the precision video I saw demonstrating it did not have an intake system on it. I didn’t even notice there was a small hole there where the filter or coupler would go. That’s why I’m asking
@TurboKitscom4 ай бұрын
It would depend how long and where the intake goes. If it gets tucked into a fender well where the sound is muffled, then by nature yes. If it's a 45* or 90* to push the filter forward to get some fresh air, not at all. The JetFighter cover will still be making the noise. The intake won't change that, it's more where the intake goes and if that muffles the sounds is all.

6466 Next Gen should hit those #s at that boost level and would be the best option IMO for the goals you have presented. You will be at the MAX of what the 6466 Next Gen can do, but the next step up is the 6870 which adds size on both ends and will add some lag for the additional power potential.
