More changes are coming based on the mayors plan outlined in Nov 22. Looking for more like Lisbon Portugals Pink Street with a bit of Time Square activity. So it may not be the same it has been for decades in a few years.

Real St...The little clothes seller is in front of where Tropix Bar once was. I'm guessing the new "Oh Nana" bar (used to be Agoysa and the original Pony Tails bar before it moved to Fields Ave and then closed) will be Korean owned again but do you know who owns Ocean bar now (used to be The Body Shop)? I always liked The Body Shop...small, fun bar and hopefully not Korean now.

If it’s not broken… don’t fix it! I don’t like the “Red Street”. I like the Walking Street like it was for decades. We all know it’s a red light district so please do not name it Red Street. It like Red Horse or Bloody Street.!!!😊😅😮 Don’t like it😞😒🤨

Been here since 70s it’s Field ave. no matter what anyone tries to rename it. They ripped the home town feel out it’s all business now 😢

Hookah pipes being sold on the street, it’s almost as though there is an effort to normalize the idea of marijuana/hashish use in the PI, but I know that ain’t gonna happen. BTW, Brian mentioned you recently on his channel. Couldn’t really tell if it was positive or not. I would love to see a unified expat youtuber community but that ain’t gonna happen either.

It sums the area up better as red is the colour of Passion. Maybe that's why your always on Red street as your a man of passion and desire.

Like it or not, the mayor is trying to clean up the image of Angeles City, evidenced by most of the comments! Red? a case of lost in translation as Filipinos associate the colour blue with explicit shows. Income wise, it is quite common in the P.I. to cut off noses to spite faces.... (termination of base agreements and, closing of Ermita bars in the 90's). I fully expect to be shot down for this post, but just saying it as I see it as a 50+ year plus visitor/resident of the Philippines. It is their country, and their choice after all.

Chub's, seriously you've never been in Dave's Kabob's? That is one of the best restaurants in that entire area. Very good food, clean and foreigner owned.

Streets has no clean safe sidewalkways very dirty, lots of hazzards, trikes, cars, illigal vendors occupy alleys no law and order all chaos.
