Hi Chad, not the best of results FOOTBALL WISE but still a very good season for the VIKINGS. My first visit to the Paradise Bar was in 2010, the only thing left is the high seats, and where the lower seats with tables are now that was parking for motorcycles. So nothing like now 15 years later. Hope this new bar is open for my visit late January-February

The stall prices are way too high. Ive taken my Filipina friend around Angeles to look for jobs. These ppl dont want to pay anything for hard labor all day. Thats filipino to filipino. Then, these stall prices per month. These people are just too greedy with their money. Look, some places my Filipina worked as a laundry lady, they wouldn't even supply her with water, or even pay her on time weekly. Then, you got all the bs requirements just to get a normal job. It was initially lost on me, the Yellow y Green; inasmuch as I live with a Brazilian woman & don’t know much about NFL. I mistakenly thought why on earth is she showing Brazilian flag (banda-ra) colors? We had a similar experience here, when we went to a local sports-bar to watch Brazilian World-Cup. The Oakland A’s were also playing; we got some fun comments,like, “Go-A’s”, to which we responded “Yes, & go Brazil”. Same uniform colors, for those like me. I was also once in a pool league but I was, in full-disclosure, the weakest-link. I’m glad you have had a successful transition to the PI. The Dragon Bars are very overpriced for what someone would get. Really all you be buying is a lease with payments every month and the physical setup of the bars. These bars could be setup for much less than the asking price. And then there are the issues of the licenses. They must be held in a Filipino / Filipina name, and are subject to being revoked at any time. It is a very risky investment, with no guarantee, these bars will even be allowed on Fields Ave. Would never want to invest in a business that has so many risks. Look at it this way, if you put 150,000 pesos clear profit in your pocket every month. That is after paying all costs and the owner doing zero work in the bar, you would only recover your 17 million pesos investment with no profit. Much better ways to invest 17 million pesos, and have a better ROI.

Look at it this way, if an investor looked at funding this deal, they would want at least a 10% return on their investment and the returned of the 17 million outlay. So this would total 18.7 million pesos, and a 10-year lease or returned period. So the payback would need to be 225,000 pesos a month to the investor. To get a clean profit of 225,000 pesos a month, plus a profit for the person who is operating the business, you would at need 1.5 million pesos a month income. The numbers just do not add up as a business.
