What else can i use instead of a tool. I am doing a trunk harness replacement and happens to be different connectors for vwcc 2013. I want to swap the connectors. To be able to connect it.

Hi. I have a Seat ibiza 1.4 TSi 6j cupra, BocaNegrA version with 180hp. Original. I m doing the replacement of that throttle. But I also have to replace the other one behind . Exactly behind of that black plastic throttle, theres another metal throttle. So How can I differentiate the alignment from the plastic throttle to the metal throttle with VCDS and vagcom??

Top seals were fine, but I had to dig deeper. There was a clear (at one time) vinyl cupped washer that was dried out, yellowed and had begun to fall apart - this washer acts like a piston ring seal on the pump on the inside of the unit. I spent about four hours trying to retrofit a handmade washer which ultimately didn't work. My model was the V300.

Thanks for this! Makes me wonder how many of these I have discarded over years prior to the days of youtube, thinking the unit were just worn out. I have a different model food saver I picked up at a thrift store for 7 dollars and thought maybe it was too good to be true when it wasn't sealing great. But this tric worked. I usually only use it a few times a month, I wonder if I could just wet the gaskets down each time and not replace the seals at all. Edit: I see they are only like 6 bucks on amazon.

Mine is a newer one but just today it seals but won't vacuum but when I take it out it isn't hot where it would seal. Usually it would be hot after vacuuming

My older FoodSaver model V2840 was only sealing on manual. On automatic it vacuumed but would never switch to seal, and if I then manually sealed the bag some air came back into the bag. I searched KZbin for some help troubleshooting and found this video so I removed the gaskets (looked good and I don't use the Foodsaver a lot), rinsed the gaskets, and put them back in. Tried the automatic sealer again and it worked perfectly! Thanks!

After rebuilt is very hard to pull the strings,take spark plugs out is easy to pull over, is there something wrong with it in this case need help?

New gaskets did not work. I placed 1/4 in. Model airplane trim tape on bottom of new gasket and works like a charm now . Did it to old gaskets and they also. Tried vacumming a spoon. Worked 5 times in a row. Dont know how long it is good for.
