I'm looking at a carpet in a house that has several stains and hope this might work. But I think it would add up quickly if you had to do multiple steps with the enzymatic cleaner. Is it remotely possible that leaving it on longer instead of lifting it after 5 minutes might be an alternative? Or does leaving it on for longer than 5 minutes possibly cause other issues or does it render it in the fact of it it's on too long?

Anyone have any other enzyme cleaner recommendation instead of bacout? I was hoping to get a gallon jug but they don't sell it on Amazon in Canada and it's over 100$ from third party sellers.

Anyone use this on stains from kids modeling clay (it’s the kind that never dries out 🫠🫠🫠) my kids have gotten pea sized stains of clay of all diff colors on our crème carpet It’s a cheap carpet so I’ve been worried about cleaning it and it looking worse but at this point anything is better than black dots everywhere (along with yellow; red blue)

So grateful that I found this video. My dog grabbed a dropped Turmeric (curcumin) supplement and cracked it open on my $2500 wool rug. I was sure it was doomed - a big yellow spot right in the middle. Other than vacuuming, I was afraid to attach the stain with any liquid fearing I would just create a liquid dye, making the problem worse. So this solution of breaking down the dye vs removing the turmeric seemed almost a miracle. Thank you so much.

All good and well, but we applied this method to our carpet and our entire carpet was ruined!!! The positive news is that indeed the urine smell is gone. The bad news is that the spots we treated are completely discolored. We had a very nice green carpet. The spots we treated have discolored to a lighter blue/green. This should have been reported in the video. We now have to buy another expensive carpet.
