In 2017 I was able to buy my dream truck. It was a 2017 Chevy Silverado LTZ. I came home to take a shower and get ready to go pick my wife up from work. While I was taking a shower we had a nasty hail storm. I went outside after changing and saw my truck. The windows were broken and cracked. The hood looked like somebody hit it with the baseball bat the same with the roof. The doors everything was messed up and there was about 2 in of hail on the ground. My neighbor's windows were broken. It looked insane the damage. I called my wife and we called the insurance company so fast forward my truck sat out there for a couple days waiting for the adjuster and all that nonsense. The insurance company gave me a rental vehicle and I went about business as usual. Deeply upset. Almost like an omen I guess. I came home from work and saw workers at my house putting a new roof on and I pulled up and was like. What are you guys doing and the foreman that was there spoke English and he told me we're putting the replacement roof on, well they actually were at the wrong house. It was supposed to have been my neighbors but they assumed because of the truck sitting there that that was the right house. So I ended up getting this done for the cost of material. I eventually ended up getting a new vehicle but to be honest I would have traded the new roof to have my green truck.
