Today we poured an air conditioner pad diy concrete. Not dry pour concrete. We mixed extra portland cement into the mix and poured 4 slump mix. Best method for DIY CONCRETE .

My motto was "No job's too big or small; we'll do them all!" Got to in order to get more work. Gets the name out there. short video, but well worth the watch.

I like the easy jobs tbh. No competition except dry pour ppl

This time of year I do a lot of repair jobs of stone and mortar walls next to lakes. The water is normally lower in the spring and fall so you can access the damaged parts. There have been days when I've run a whole pallet of bagged mortar through an electric mixer.
@GRUBB-MUDD10 ай бұрын
Ohh yeah. I have an electric mixer but tbh i dont use it much, i tried on 1.5 yards one time and tbh it was a pain in yhe rear, meaning i prefer the truck if its over half a yard. Thank u for watching dc

Nice to have a few "quick and easy" jobs. I mix them in all the time!
@GRUBB-MUDD10 ай бұрын
Me too, if i could only do these jobs i would lnt even do big jobs tbh, but obviously we do bigger stuff. I won5 usually hand mix, but this 1 was so small

@@GRUBB-MUDD I'm actually kind of getting away from them in volume. I started out doing ALL small stuff. But I love stamped/decorative. I'm heading in the direction of being 75% decorative and 25% standard/ smaller jobs. The job I just went Facebook Live on yesterday is another average job for me. 200 square feet of narrow walkway.

@@Tony-Rinaldo that ratio is prob tge best (i just sold a stamp border patio) decorative is where the money is, i would still take driveway extensions and sidwalks, thats just me personally. Everyone is dif, and thats just what i prefer, i also like driveways that can be poured w the truck. Most of our jobs are buggy jobs. Which is ok to. Anyways im heading to spring break. I will check it out on the way to FL

Money is money man, get it while, and when you can. I see you too use the holey hoe, I've mixed many a wheelbarrow full with one. I really like working for my boss, all prevailing wage work. LOL I do that little back-step also when casting release powder!! I prefer picture-framing sidewalks/patios, it looks more professional. City/State gov't doesn't want it, says it's a slip/fall hazard, I've never seen anyone slip on a picture-framed pad, but they pay really good so I do as told.

So are the red bags better than the than the yellow bags as far as finishing with the surface or how does this work I don't know you know I'm going to finish your form setter myself and I work in cold weather and we always put the heating tubes and you know the sidewalks and all that so that they can keep the sidewalks from freezing so nobody will slip and fall I was just curious on how you feel about the red bags you know being an easier product like you were talking about or what it is
@GRUBB-MUDD10 ай бұрын
The red bags have accelerator in it, in The summer it doesnt matter. Either way i would use extra portland cement. Also u can use hot water in the winter w yellow bags. It will help too
