I know......not bad finds for only a little over an hour of digging. Probably wont be able to go much longer than 2 hours this week. Looks like a record heat wave is coming for the entire week. Not looking to good for outside activities. The river is at least a little cooler with all the water. I may go out there if it gets to hot

I am not even sure what this coke bottle I found is yet. The top is different on this one than any i have seen. It is like one of those little doll baby bottles at the top.

I found another one like that today. But it is more a deeper yellow...and only certain swirls in it glow. Probably from the same bag. It is slow going....I got out a bunch of concrete ans made a little progress today before I was to pooped to continue

That mini coke was most likely a sample from the 40s or early 60s.

Yea....I tried to look that up. Cant find another one like it online anywhere with that same odd top. That is an ODD bottle. I will look up what the date is on it....it has numbers on the bottom and an Owens Illinois Glass Mark. So i will be able to go look at some chart online and determine the exact date. I just dont know the exact date looking at it....without the chart...LOL. The numbers are small.....and I am no bottle expert. So we will have to see.

I've dug a few of those mini cokes, but yours has a weird lip on the top of it. Nice find. Everyone says they're from the 1970s, but mine are from the 1930s or 40s... same as yours. The date code doesn't lie.

Yea. That is what threw me off....was that top. It almost looks like a Nursing Bottle Top for a doll baby. I know what you mean on the other ones.....they all have little crown tops......this is something different. The embossing is odd too. I can probably figure out what date this one is for sure....it has numbers and that Owens mark. I just dont know what i am looking at on that yet...haha

@@rockscousteau Basically, the single digit on the right is the date. If there is a dot before it, then it's the 1940s (".4" = 1944)... if no dot, then it's the 1930s. 1950s would have two digits... like 54

The Coke bottle find is really nice. Looks like you found another salt/pepper shaker again. Somebody must have had a collection of them at one time and threw them out and you keep finding them. Nice marbles Rocks. Thanks for sharing.

That may even be a coke candy container. The top is what is odd. No threads and much wider than the others I have seen. I cannot find a photo anywhere of one like this exactly.

Maybe you should try reaching out to the head office of the Coke company to see if they can give some history on it. Good luck and keep us informed if you found out anything. You may have something rare and valuable.

I dunno. It may even be a candy container with that top. I cant find one with that top on it. It is different....wider than any of the others. I think looking at those bottom numbers this is from the 1930's

For your little coke with the large top opening - my guess is it's a candy (like with several color BB"s sugar type) I have the smaller top which were made for salt and pepper.

Yea that is what i thought. And I started looking at them ..... And I did for like 2 hours thus far. And I have not seen another one with this top......It has no threads and looks like top on one of those little baby doll nursing bottles. That took the rubber nipple. Maybe the salt topper was rubber? I dunno? or maybe this was for a doll? I dunno. This is one of the first items I could not find

Well on this I dunno. I think it may be to small. And that top has no threads. it is like a baby bottle top on one of those nursing bottles. I could not find another one like it looking around. I will try and figure out the date from the numbers on the bottom

Rocks can't you find lighter cloths that heat Rest stand and cooler Then wearing sweats. I'm concerned for your Comfort and you fun. If you get better lighter Cloths you can spend Longer time at the dump finding more Awesome marbles and Other cool treasure. What are your going to name your little Precious kitty.

Yea.....Since he liked that. I went to a pet store and got him some stuff to add to his water bottle. I have added honey flavored drops with minerals and vitamins in it...and he loves it. It has made a big difference in his health. He is meatier and stronger now....and his coat is really shiny. It was what he needed. old squirrel man is doing g reat
