The HK MP's are the most beautiful firearms in the world. T2, and many other movies. An old platform without aging.

I think good gun for money. Added apex trigger and strike micro comp. Much better now so plus $120. Still a good price with add ons.

I had a Staccato P for a year shot about 5,000 rounds or so in USPSA and IDAP competition. I was stuck at 48% in USPSA and in IDPA was shooting average.. Brought a Platydussie commander and after 8 weeks of shooting the commander my score went up 55% points in USPSA and IDPA I was getting top scores. That being said I sold the Staccato P and brought the 5" Platydussie and scores went up 3% more. So that being said the, I have had stove pipe in the commander and government model and it was reloads ammo related. Scores keep getting better, my shooting become smoother. I shoot Federal 115 and 124gr. For CCW all Federal Hydroshok 124gr, Critical duty 115gr. and G6 self defense ammo have no issues. The Platydussies loves the lube, never had an issue, and have shot maybe 3,000 rounds through both. Yeah I know it is called a Platypus, but Platydussie sounds better. LOL

A buddy of mine has a Kriegoff which is an incredible shotgun, but it's nothing in comparison to this. I've seen a Rigby rifle that was handmade probably in the 30s and it was incredible. These kind of guns are luxury goods, you don't need them but like luxury cars they are nice to have, if you can afford them. Even if they are not in your budget they are amazing to see.

The original HK P7M10 in .40 S&W was designed by Paul Carroll and it had the standard P7M13 slide. When the prototype was sent to Germany the engineers there decided the slide velocity was to fast so to slow it down they created the heavier slide that became the production version.

Worked in healthcare in inner city hospitals. We saw numerous GSWs in our ER! About 2/3rds of everyone shot with either .22, .45, 9 mil, .38, survived their trip to the hospital and surgery. 100% of everyone we saw hit with a shot payload came in at room temp and went straight to the morgue!! 12 ga OO buck puts 9 .33/ 54 grain projectiles screaming down range in close formation! Absolutely devastating to human anatomy and function, that’s just one pull of the trigger!!!

In the US Navy the M9 is still in used by Petty Officers of the watch. And also by the Sentries who are on guard by the gate entrance near the ship.

Hey guys. Here is my 1911 story. My Grandfather In WWII (Australia) was captured by the Japanese. After building the Thai-Burma railroad was put on a ship to go to Japan. The ship was torpedoed by the USS Pampanito, and many days later, the sub circled back to find some POWs floating in the Sea of Japan. My Grandfather was picked up by the "Pamp" and later returned to Perth, Western Australia. A Marine, after a huge piss-up with the Yanks, gave my Grandfather a Colt 1911 as a gift. After Prime Minister John Howard screwed with the Australian gun laws, the gun was desecrated by fusing the firing pin. I hope to bring it back with me to the US.

If he told me 25,000 for one of those I'd laugh in his face I wouldn't have gave him 10k for em The only reason he's charging that much is because there's a lot of people out there with money and he knows it 👹

Ok- I am a polymer/stryker-fired fan boy. 100%. I'm going to the 2-way range, I'm taking a Glock/CZ etc. Period. But the 1911 is fun. It's enjoyable. It's comfortable. It's a pleasure to shoot. Would I ever carry a 1911, edc? No- never. Period. There isn't a good reason to when you have better capacity and dependability at a lower price. That said- I'm herr to figure out what to buy for a range toy.

I've noticed your dog in vids in the background and have wondered what you do to protect his/her hearing when you're shooting? I take mine everywhere with me including work, but not to the mountains where I shoot as dog's ears are far more sensitive than human's and I don't want to hurt her hearing, nor have I been able to find ear pro for her. So had to ask

The biggest reason to use a shotgun for home defense is a jury and prosecutor. Juries are more sympathetic to use of a shotgun over an AR15.

I was really ready to pull the trigger in a Staccato. But now im really thinking sbout going this route. It seems like im mot losing anything going this route iber the Staccato, but gaining some things. For less money. Is there an argument to be made to still go staccato because as it stands, im ready to submit my damn platypus order. Lol
