If you have money to burn this rifle makes sense as a family heirloom. It's an example of art and craftmanship at the highest level but at the same time they didn't lose sight of functionality. I hate to say it, but the price seems reasonable considering the skill and time it takes to make it.

I’d be really interested in seeing the technology of the new military 6.8x51 applied to the 5.56 round. Bi metal case, higher pressures, maybe we could get some 77grn otm’s hitting 3700fps out a 14.5, or 3500 out of a 12.5” or something like that. That would greatly increase energy on target since velocity is the largest factor of energy, maybe 62grn at 4K fps, it would probably take a new bullet design do it won’t separate in air or even in barrel because the super high velocity.

Aight, keep it real with me, is the HK SP5k/SP5k PDW better to have overall vs the standard MP5? Like, these days there very small .300BLK rifles or other very small rifles, but they still aren't smaller and handier than the SP5K/PDW. Right now I can really only justify buying one of them and I can't really decide. I thought I was gonna go MP5, since i plan on suppressing it and that one seems better to suppress and nicer to shoot and run in general, but the SP5k is just so so small. Yeh the MP5 is really small too though, but an SP5k with suppressor is either the same length or a lil shorter than an SP5 without suppressor. So what I wanna know is this: in 2024, which gun is the one that makes more sense to have if I can only have one for right now? Is the SP5k that much harder to shoot than an SP5? Is it that much trickier to use than an SP5? I'm going to be running a CAT suppressor, so backpressure is basically a non-issue. It's such a non-issue that I don't even need to change the locking piece or do any of the other 'suppressor focused mods'. The MP5 is obviously gonna have better ballistics and suppress better and have less blast, but does that really matter that much when I"m gonna be using such a high efficiency suppressor like the CAT MOB?

It looks like a toy. Would be interesting to see how close the three holes would be on target. Would there be cases where one would hit, but two miss? Or would you always get either three hits or zero? Imagine a recent case of hitting someone‘s ear… (- sorry for the bad taste).

It's still a cartridge - the name cartridge was given to a unit of ammunition with a bullet, propellant and a combustible case centuries ago. You don't need to make up some new term or avoid using "cartridge".

@14:00 "It needs to be brought into action faster..." Sounds like a quote from "Shooting to Live: Fairbairn & Sykes" @54:22 for addressing gun affectionados, when you say P7 it is like saying DB5 to a Bond fan, or sports car fan -- that is all that need be said. You just don't have to explain.
