I didn't even think about just making my own custom band merch but that sounds incredibly cool. Thank you for the inspiration!

12:26 nothing more real than having that one patch you spell wrong when its statement was so cool.

Omg I remember at work this girl had a bag with a bunch of patches and pins all over it clearly hand done and the largest one was FUCK TERFS. That one made me smile, I’m so pissed I didn’t get a chance to complement it it was so cool. Also fuck terfs

This video saved my life, i swear half the stuff on our uniform policy are because of me. I wear long gloves and bracelets, dye my gair, rings and necklaces, scruffy tie, unticked shirt and a spiky belt, i put pins on my blazer. I get told off a bunch but i really could not care.

Summarised list for everyone: 1. Collages 2. Local artist prints 3. Vinyl sleeves 4. Posters (paper, tapestry. Film, band whatever!) 5. Halloween decorations (stuff is marked down after Halloween) 6. Musical instruments and amps 7. Stickers 8. Skateboards 9. Clothing (when not being worn) 10. CD & vinyls on display 11. Books 12. Artworks (made for you, made by you, made by whoever!) 13. Fucking whatever you want on the door. Literally whatever. Unlucky 13!!

Green day “selling out” was probably one of the most punk things they did. They got the funds to put punk rock PERMANENTLY on the map, and did it without stunting or changing their message, and got millions into punk. 12:23 also, is fear spelled wrong on purpose?

Part of punk is not supporting the system as much as possible. It is the epitome of punk to diy, mod, upcycle or make your own clothing. Buying punk clothing from a place like hot topic is kind of a contradiction.

Appreciate your honest opinion on the justice system and the police system it's always been trash there are some evil people out there but evil and discrimination is not taught overnight police officers are just lap dogs for the government to tear people down that are different however that doesn't always last for much longer thank you for this video I appreciate you much love brother from one punk rocker to another I appreciate it

I have some questions, I’m working on my crust pants and do I cover the whole thing in many empty patches and then add the detailed ones on top? Do I add them all at the same time? How do y’all deal with spacing and overlap management as you go?

sewing a patch into my crust pants as I watch (but also a nice tip for diy! cut cans into shapes, put holes in them and saw them onto your fabric! gives it a cool metal shiny accent!)

I used to get barked at when I wore a spiked choker, but otherwise dressed pretty plainly, lol. Strangely enough, they stopped doing that when I started dressing more "strangely" and dyed my hair, lmao

Learning a hell of a lot from you and youtuber Rattus Rattus you should check them out they do DIY vids too. Do you listen to any vkei/visual kei from Japan? That's my personal style which blends punk and goth into one.

What kind of fabric do you use as bases for the patches? Is it all canvas? And do you use it from old clothes or buy it from a craft store or both? Just curious what you do to get them sturdy & lasting
