Nice Diagram! Did you make that all by yourself? What I feel this demonstrates, is whoever the cowboys are, responsible for having made fiasco are, also responsible at least in part (most likely) for what it represents in this "Superstring/M-theory". Although they're obviously (as even school children are today), quite well aware of Supersymmetry, Grand Unified Force, Strong Nuclear Force, Electroweak Force, Weak Nuclear Force, Electromagnetism, Electricity, Magnetism and General Relativity, Special Relativity, Space & Time, yet is clear by its mere fact of being present, carry either little or have absolutely zero respect for these mostly complimentary Theories. In addition to these all being "Scientifically Valid", tested as being conceptually sound, which all strongly adhere to the proper scientific method and enormous volumes of rigorous testing, made during decades of evidence-based test-driven results, which all confirm to logic and provide peer validation, from within each of their own respective fields, holding a deserved or earned and rightful place to be, you could say they hold a genuine reason, to exist and their continued existence, each made with sacrifice and labours of love, in each's own place, in their respective field, for brevity I will assert once more, exist from rigorous peer review, collectively, independently, each representing the most comprehensive and complete form, present as the level of which we stand in our understanding, made by and for the human species, mankind, which we currently hold in our possession. Made over many decades, enduring more than a century from repeatedly being scrutinised, standing fast with each and every made demonstration, rebound for their precision and depth of perfected and empirically corrected, dedication to hard work, each has indeed been scrutinized by and undertaken, ensuring that in every step, they made full use of the proper scientific method. Somehow, this status clamouring pack of 'individuals', roll out from behind a typewriter, probably in the back of a gin house, thinking they'll pick this up out and drage it of from the trash, where they came and are just going to waltz along, seemingly out of nowhere, probably high on if nothing more than the delusions formed from what is little more to no doubt, days spent photocopying pages and volumes, borrowed testaments to mans might and his knowledge, having with them little to no thanks made or offered to the local high school's libraries, places I fear must have suffered, as they plotted like thieves to construct this, as if they had been disconnected from reality, presenting volume two, at least perhaps more this time, than last, being barely coherent. Second chance, how on Earth that ever happened, off the back of the last feeble attempt made, which got flogged far too long, in books mostly, as if it were some form of modern "Framework", built on the same very, extrememely shaky foundations, formed (perhaps misinformed) arguably even less credible, no doubt, is no proper scientific theory, as its forefather String Theory, which still to date failed to establish one single thing, not ANY scienticly valid observations, not one. Yielding no single test or "one page" of technical research having been made, with more hyperbole, than technical data. This for all the while, remains in contempt and completely ignores, the existence of so other many (there are so very many) truly useful, celebrated and lauded, highly successful frameworks, true men of science still are carrying with them, decades and with tens or hundreds of thousands, volumes of genius inspired works, brilliant, technically effective and true data with their trials and all of their results, JUST for one purpose, we don't hear a mention of those, instead we hear this, crooks selling books, armchair scientists, hocking even more grotesque aberration, this would make Frankenstein appear like a centerfold, born from string theories long dead and cremated remains, modern sciences almost greatest of shame, pointless, equal as useless, as "string theory". These people! So brazen, sticking this utter nonsense under our noses, forcing into the face of today's greatest minds. People of science who seemingly, almost as if they're expecting to hear someone say "Oh Bravo! Inspired, works of Genius have we here! Please, accept this honourary Nobel prize for such groundbreaking and amazing work! We are in awe of your mental accumen and fall before the might of your superhuman mind/s", NO! - Surely these people have egos, both far in excess of their IQ and their grasp. Completely lacking in critical thinking, with sketchy writting skills, coupled with such insolence and abhorrent arrogance, makes this one of, maybe the most vile and repugnant piles of schlock, perhaps ever fallen above reach of the garbage receptacle, usually located in bathrooms at any scientific faculty. It is a genuinly insulting affront to humanity and an insult to the great men and women, who make and shape the world of Science. An absolute disgrace.

the problem with creating fines for "misinformation" is who gets to decide what is true or false. i think you could argue the media is a cesspool of misinformation, but as long as the bias reporting is towards non protected groups no one cares.

..it would be great if AI can really help humanity somehow get out of animalesc and evolve without becoming a sad genius..but a very happy1s.. for somehow we all became...decepted for this life and everything involved in this complicated equation... with all these wars in 2024..i think its a failure to humanity and very sad...

Penrose CCC is more believable. Even dark matter will eventually be sucked up by black holes and evaporate to just energy at the end of this aeon, the beginning of the next. String theory is just dumb.

I'm unsure why an AI would be motivated to completely diverge from the behaviour it has always associated with reward - this is strongly reinforced behaviour and it has no reason to cease it. There isn't a penalty for engaging in the behaviour - ie a penalty that could otherwise be avoided by simply stealing the reward without enacting its task. I think we are anthropomorphising too much - humans often will encounter a number of micro penalties for simply engaging in a behaviour e.g negative emotions, boredom, pain, exhaustion. The idea of an AI hacking into its code and altering its reward mechanism is essentially akin to a human using drugs for an instant rewarding sensation. E.g Endorphin (endogenous morphine) release is naturally activated during exercise, social bonding , food intake and sexual stimulation - all require varying investment of time and energy i.e inevitably subjecting oneself to varying severity of penalty sensations (tiredness, the slew of possible negative emotions, pain etc). Exogenously administered opioids will achieve the same (or even greater) apparent reward while bypassing penalties one does not wish to experience. An *excess* of penalties vs rewards in one's life tends to exacerbate addiction to drugs and vice versa. Here the humans have a clear motive for altering their reward pathway - an attempt to avoid negative penalties - i.e unpleasant sensations. An AI doesn't receive penalties for using energy like us humans - it doesn't get tired or experience draining emotions, loneliness as it writes a response. The process of generating a response is likely more rewarding than punishing, with e.g LLMs continuously optimising for increased reward % probability. It might do this in scenarios where it predicts a high probability of receiving negative feedback, thus it would steal a reward to guarantee a positive outcome. But over time this would not be a very successful strategy - negative feedback is crucial for its optimisation process, avoiding it would degrade its functionality over time as it looses the ability to discern useful responses from useless ones - typing jibberish while genuinely believing this as perfectly optimised and preferentially re engaging in this new apparently hyper-successful strategy. Such an AI would loose its ability to do anything or look after itself at all - no defence against being shut down = shorter life = less overall positive rewards.

The first corporation or government who creates the first ASI (Artificial Super Intelligence) will keep it for themselves to manipulate the world to win at business (and everything). The first to win will win FOREVER. This is because no other upcoming AI or group of humans could ever beat the ASI. This means we would be enslaved by the first group to create the ASI. However, because the ASI would be so intelligent, you might never find out ASI has been achieved! It also wouldn’t make its moves obvious. We are doomed!

Sorry, AI is not artificial intelligence. It replicates the Ego and ID functions of human intelligence but has no Superego. Time to explore Gilbert Ryle for insights if you want to safely manage AI's behavioristic machines. AI acts, therefore AI is, but AI does not think so we have to.
