if it is an integer can we figure out which one it'd be?

My idea: After 10 years of placing the last block you just destroy it all. Taken 1200 years to build just for it to stand only 10 years. pure poetry

I've been working on a video game for a lil bit and decided to take a break by watching this video only to realize this exact thing can be used to fix an issue ive been having! Thanks Matt!

I would ad half a of a stone in 10 years then the other half 10 years after that. Letting the art piece finish on time and looking how it was ment to look but with the split block as a reminder of the mistakes we make and that we can fix our mistakes.

The simplest solution is always the best: Topping the piramid with a block over the 2x2 layer at its center. Done.

So just wait 20 years to install the last block instead of 10, not elegant, but it works.

But, if an algorithm takes X time to do a task, then improving by 100% would make the value of X zero, since the time consumption would be improved by 100%. So, the improvement was close to 99.99999999%

Considering that they have 116 blocks to go but need 117 events (each decade) they could start putting each block in extended intervals, instead each 10 ears they would have to set another in 10 ears and 1 month (or sth like that)

I think that Laura had a nice idea, but the logic went backwards. If you have a prism made of plasticine and twisted it (a volume preserving transformation) it would start to cinch in in the middle, so the antiprism is bigger than that.

I haven't watched the Video. Just came here to comment that I think the whole "Different sizes of Infinity" is based on a huge misconception. They apply rules that apply to none Infinite things to Infinity and are surprised they get None Infinit logic as a result. I don't get it. Clearly Infinity cannot be explained with a common sense thought experiment which is entirely based on everyone having the concept of Finity burned in their Brains. If you assume our common sense is unfailable and can grasp the Universe to its fullest (which these ppl apparently base their entire Argumentation of off) than anything this experiment could explain would be why real Infinity cannot exist. The assumption of differently sized Infinities is trash because it beats the entire concept of Infinity itself. Also Arkhams Razor should have anyone reconsider and maybe take one of the several easy explanations for the result of the thought ecperiment before jumping to an assumption that's literally beating it's own concept. Really. I hate this Theory. I will not watch the Video but I hope he explains why the thing is a misconception or at least sold wrongly to the public.

It would be interesting to know how they solve the structural integrity problem, the concrete may also crack or degrade in some way since it has to be there for so long and some of the almost oldest blocks will be used as the foundation for the highest towers.

I will say that this project doesnt get completed even half way. and in 1000 years we should have time travel by then, so come back and let me know if im right. (4.14 SW corner)
