Does it have to be Dawn? I currently have the Ajax dish soap so I'm wondering if it'll work the same.

A waste of money and time . Good luck on bending over picking up those bins . It be much quicker , and easier to just rake it up .

Yeah KZbin, saved me in one minute what could have been a double feature horror shoe. I may have cheated a little, I put the hot water from the tub in my new really cool crystal glass pitcher boiler ( but I didn't go all the way to 212⁰ boiling because I was afraid of cracking the porcelain or annoying the wax ring). & I put the dawn in first(when I came back from the kitchen with the 1/2 gallon of ~175⁰F hot water the clog had already slipped down & all that was left was a handful of bubbles in the bottom of the bowl). Have same one, motor is burned out and no markings on it for replacement. I see other 12v motors out there, but don't know if RPMs are correct. No make or model or parts list. Anyone ever change one?

Also guys, if debris/poop/bedding gets in water often. Do like this video however, super glue bucket to pan(with waterproof glue), and drill holes near top of needed to string the hanging line from. It needs much less filling as chickens do not drink dirty water. And then hang it somewhere

You said “…Chinese made, they’re going to use metric.” What’s the point of this comment? 99.99% of everything manufactured new in the US uses SI. US made cars have been 100% SI for 40 years. Every country on earth except the US has SI as their legal standard. The US govt uses the SI system. NIST has officially defined every US Customary unit of measure in SI units since the 19th century. Why is it special that this is metric because it’s made in China? Metric is the common/standard everywhere. Would be more appropriate to call out the rare instances when a product is still using backward and outdated Imperial hardware.
