Nice! Fast and effective solution for the chix 🐓🐓🐓. You are making me check those windchills for central NC. My girls will be fine overnight in the henhouse - but Ive got a few meat rabbits in covered cages and they are open to the winds. 🐇🐇🐇 Time to stretch out some tarps 👍🏻 Thank you and good luck with the cold. brrrrr.

We’re in NE Tennessee (Appalachian Trail runs next to property) and wind chill put us at -20 before Christmas. Several power outages / rolling blackouts. Luckily the chickens and Champagne rabbits did fine. I’m impressed by how you did the plastic wrap!

Out of all of my chickens I only had 1 that died. A bunch of roosters go frost bite on their combs, they're doing good now.

I’d end up investing in some roofing tin that I could put up and take down during the winter and summer. I know it would definitely be expensive though. This coop is a really good design though.

Yeah I like that the plastic works and it's fast to go up. It does cost some money though, like $100 a year unless you save and reuse it.
