Hey guys new subscribers here...our family have been following a few of your videos recently as we just brought a caravan very similar to your rig and it's great that your showing the map of how to get to the places that you visited and really great idea that you show what some of the road type/conditions are like, it really helps for future planning of trips, were also loving the little tips and tricks you find helpful along the way...Great stuff guys keep up the awesome videos!

My wife and I are new subs too and I am currently going through all of their videos (from the 1st episode) We are planning sth similar starting 2023 March/April and will travel for about 12-18 months. Yes, you are right. They are very informative and the maps, places, tips etc are super useful. Sadly, I don't think they are doing KZbin anymore, so they might not see your comment. But, as far as we are concerned...these guys are legends and very kind to take so much time to make these videos. Anyways, just saw your comment and decided to give you a heads up on their current status. Wish you guys all the best and safe travels. E&T

Great video! So looks like Port Jackson is definitely a goodie. Would you be able to recommend your top favorite 3 or top 5 spots to stay in the top half of north island? We have a 4x4 Ute but she's fairly stock. We are from the south Island doing a trip next month all the way up but finding it hard to decide on spots like Port Jackson!

The savings are 14 cents on fuel card. I often find I use gas driving to the truck stop. Just as well off to take advantage of 10 cent savings at BP, Caltex etc. Or, if I fill up at gull service stations, sometimes I save more than using the Mobil card at truck stops. I do click and collect at supermarkets. Big saving on the countdown card. Kovi insurance is expensive. Insurance is cheaper by shopping around. You get better deals We don't use doc sites. We have a dog. Wouldn't be worth the ticket Any money saved, unless youre a regular ferry user, (ten bucks cheaper with all points) spend thousands in noel leeming, is lost in 90 bucks for membership. The members you party it up with are all old in nzmca. Much better with all points camping
@RoadLifeNZ3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the reply. When we made this vid times were definitely different. All points camping is definitely something to look at. You're right about nzmca, definitely an old boys club, although the park over properties etc did make it easier for us while we were touring.
@k9nick3 жыл бұрын
@@RoadLifeNZ think nzmca has turned into a reich personally. Everyone will be blue eyed with blond soon before you can enter a camp ground.

Has the True Kit boat stood the test of time? How durable have you found it in terms of punctures etc?
@RoadLifeNZ3 жыл бұрын
It has been terrific, no issues except for wear on the bottom from the wheels rubbing when their are being used for towing. Other than that, there is no issue at all from us.
