Love this video. Sorry to hear that an uninformed member of the public chose to interrogate you. Just a thought, you could print up some sort of "business type" card which gives your Turner Tribe You Tube site. They could then watch your videos and see that you are totally respectful of the areas that you visit. The videos are great. We love watching them. Penny and Laurie.

That is such a great idea! It is such a shame that people really don't like locals enjoying areas. Never mind them though.....thank you for watching!

Hiya! (new subscriber here) Just wanted to say thanks for the info on following the NZ bylaws for freedom camping. My family and I are Kiwis looking to get out and about and travel in a Motor home now we're in Alert Level 2. We're homeschooling but have the ability to be location independent as digital nomads. We are now considering road schooling our kids in NZ so appreciate all your helpful tips all very inspiring! Do you have videos on the Coromandel/Whitianga region I think we'll head there soon!

Hi! Thanks for following, glad we are giving you some inspiration 👍 that's what we hope to do. Honestly, give this life a go if you have the chance, it's great and the kids will love it. Our next videos are about that peninsula but we found that east side so built up and extremely unwelcoming so skipped it for more remote areas, though we did visit hot water beach.... Couldn't miss that fun! The next video is the kauaeranga valley and the following will be the top of the peninsula. We loved it at the top, so worth the hike!

There's a crazy lady out close to there, gives everyone a hard time. Think her name is Margaret.
