Nice video. We did the East Cape earlier this year, lots of nice freedom camping spots right on the beach.

Love watching you guys! We were there many years ago with our boy who is now 34! It’s good to get a reminder that it’s the simple things that bring the greatest joy! Keep the vids coming.

What kind of caravan do you have? We are a family of 5 (similar age kids) with a 15ft vintage, but looking to expand a little but don’t want something too big so can still get to all the good nz spots!

Hi! We have an Elite 20”10 family caravan. We do have a video you can watch on our channel where we do a detailed walk around. Also, if you watch our backstory video you can see what we started of living in when we hit the road.

Might pay to talk to the locals to find out how to pronounce Tolaga and Tokomaru

I think you do an amazing job of your Maori pronunciation Tiff! This is where we will be taking the grandkids sometime soon for a bit of fun with Nanny and Poppa in the Camper 👍

Hi Jannine! Thanks for the encouragement, being an Aussie I find it a struggle and my accent sometimes gets the better of me! Thanks so much for watching!

Not trying to be critical at all, but i have never heard anyone pronounce Tolaga Bay like you did. Short "a"s is how locals say it, i am pretty sure. Nice video tho.

Thanks for watching Pete, appreciate it. Also, cheers for the heads up on the short a. Will keep that in mind for our next visit. 😁
