I'm not sure with this list. I A1 is in a M50 and is fighting against A1 in Hornet, i would say win/loose chance is 50/50. 😊

Until my fighter squad thinks "oh no they brought a capital ship." Instead of "oh cool a free kill" when one shows up then balance has not been achieved. They have the idea backwards. I shouldn't care about fighters UNTIL I've taken damage from a another large vessel and am now vulnerable to the smaller guns on the fighters. My PDCs should absolutely decimate anything that gets close enough to shoot at me otherwise. Right now it feels like an M1-Abrams should be concerned about the truck with a SAW mounted on the back before an enemy tank, and that is absurd to me.

Im very new to the game, i suck at pretty much every pvp game like cod, battlefield, war thunder, arma. I love star citizen and id love to be one of them untouchable pvp gods but no matter how hard i try i my practice is worthless. Even against pve targets, i cant even complete the 61k vaughn missions i just dont understand how people get so so good

How does the Origin M50 compare to the MIRAI Razor (LX) in combat? Both ships are equipped with the same number of weapons, as well as identical weapon and component sizes.

If you can, put a Mantis with the QI turned on in the lower cargo hold of the Polaris . Heard about it on another stream that it turns the Polaris into a QI beast and you can still use the large hangar. Would be awesome to see if it worked.

apparently this tier list is based around a 10km fight radius with the impossibility to follow someone who warped 200km away (or anywhere) And this is what A1 categorize as S tier. Those people apparently can't bring proper fighter. Dude, i don't know if you realize how stupid this tier list is.

Just add FLAK cannons. A type of ammo that explodes near the target and the fragments deal damage. Since we play WW2 in space, it's just a logical next step. German ground AA had the same problem during WW2 and thus used time fused exploding shells. B17s etc were not hit by projectiles directly, but by the shrapnell.

This is current model. What are your thoughts of when armor hits? Do you believe it will make the use of mulitple types of ship better? Or is it just going to be bring the biggest guns available. I understand you are just trying to give info on the current model.. But would like to hear you opinion on the future, since you probably have more info than I.

Sorry, but I don't trust testing performed by the A1 team, it seems they have a habbit of downplaying ships they like and don't want nerfed, while upselling ships they don't like to make them sound more OP than they are. All while calling it a skill issue if you disagree with their results. If you watch which are chosen for what you will quickly see that real stats differ greatly from what is presented. (Examples being which ships are used by actual PvPers, pirates, and destroyed/abandoned in known PvP hotspots.) But A1 will keep making videos to atempt to convince us that he is right, even after extensive testing proves him wrong.

You're the first person I've seen that uses this ship correctly. It was so frustrating watching people joust in what is effectively a thargoid.... Thargoids don't joust.

These videos have been incredibly helpful. I haven't found anything in this game more satisfying then when a solo pilot tries to gank me while I'm doing a contract on a Pyro planet where I can turn the tables and kill my attacker rather than just run away. These skills have been instrumental for that. Likewise, there's nothing more frustrating then when a solo pilot tries this and the game starts getting so laggy and choppy that we're both teleporting around the sky until suddenly I'm alone and then fifteen minutes later my wings blow off because I was being shot and couldn't see it.

I'm curious to know if having a mix of ships provides any advantage. Would having a retaliator or paladin in the mix with the hornets make the ball defensible?

With how missiles works in 4.0 , i usually keep distance and fire missiles . F7 shall fly backward and never chase m50 ,if they know control&mobility is less important with greater distance.

my problem with A1 videos is that he rigs the competition by setting up parameters that are not realistic like saying the F7A cant nav mode and there is screen shots making limits... no PVP should ever have parameters other than travel more than 20-30k from the main cluster. there is no logic it saying you cant use a specific tactic! once you set guidelines you begin to impact the reality of capabilities! if you cant ask for an 8v8 and say the only test is how does 8 of _____ fair against 8 ____

Well, they've all just learned a few valuable lessons. Always use your multitool and ALWAYS assume someone is watching you... somewhere...

i had pvp polaris figth with me in full crewed polaris + an other full polaris vs. 1 full crewed polaris. We shoot a lot in "old" un-tactik style. It was more dps figth. But the problem why it was stupid dps figth was not SC or CIG, the problem was we dont know how to fight. PDC killed all topredos and rockets! So in a smart figth, the most important thing in capital ship figths is to kill with ballistics the PDC-Turrets. For this the polaris has 2 Size 6 ballistic turrets by its own. And for this case is see the heavy figther like vanguard and F8C... just killing with ballistics, first pdc, than engine... After this the own polaris has to use tropedos! To figth in polaris just with laser weapons, shoot shield down an hull...this is stupid! This is a new kind of smart figth that all SC players has to learn and this is a good figth! It is rigth that pdc kill everthing! In Modern warship, the anti-air systems also will kill everything. Modern ships arent supid WW2 warships where simple submarine easy kill with torpedos. In catpital ship figth the team wich figths smarter should win! Capital ship should always come in a battle group, not alone! 6 people should better use 1 andromed + 3 figther instead 1 polaris. Not just because of figth flexibility also becaus of the costs in fight and damage! Excample for a battlegroup: 1 polaris with 2 light/medium figther in hangar to hunt enemy ligth /medium/heavy figther and special figther like areas ion 2 heavy figther with ballistics asstand alone eskort to first destroy PDC of enemy polaris, than attac other Contallatins, corsair, redeemer... Reload ballistics in polaris (this should be possible in figth) Andromeda/Redeemer/Hammerhead - heavy "support cruiser" against all kinds of figther in the air

do this against shadow moses, 3v3, gloves off, testing with your own people just to show that you're right isnt as convincing as you think, orgs tend to fly in the same style which heavily favors particular ships and playstyles remember your tier placing for the bucci which however did very poorly in the fight or fligh tournament
