I don't know if this was already said or if you already knew, but Prelude in Db Major + Who can fathom the soundless depths are both a part of one song by Chopin! The Prelude is called 'Raindrop' (another sly reference to rain), and soundless depths ends with the piano fill to tie it back to the main melodies within the first part of the prelude (or the entirety of Prelude in ROR2). Excellent video though!! I loved all of the commentary on each of the songs, it helped to give me a new perspective on the OST that I hadn't had before.

this is honestly the most ridiculous comment i've ever wrote, it is almost certainly mad rambling's, i just get enkoyment from thinking of ridiculous descriptions like these 2:36, this parallel's the experience experience the husk's who went into the labyrinth, it felt like a reprieve from the violence of the 1st ring, but then they started to wander, wander into the garden of forking, a maze of a million transmutations of the same room's, with door's that open and close, with no way of feeling familiarity, but no way of knowing if progress is ever made, eventually the dread seep's in, they become tired, and then they sleep... you know what happen's next. and continuing with this madness of making a story from the music and the lore, the world look's red is like what happened after a first few slept, the hope they saw in the labyrinth betrayed by hell's sadistic hand, as they were ether destroyed by the -Minotaur- or ripped limb, by limb, by limb, by limb, by muscle, by bone and the flesh, imprisoned within the red-stained white shell we now call mannequin's. 30:06, there is one more thing it might be referencing, in 2014 Hakita released an album called clockwork, the first song on it named "no sound no music" & the last 33:41 "wrapped in a single package", i think that might be the phrase you're looking for something i think is interesting about the song's is that they aren't reflective of the player's conquest but rather the suffering of those left to suffer in the 7th layer, the dread in the garden, the panic & desperation of the -Minotaur-, a being who i can only assume has the mind of a child, never given the love & care needed to grow up, in their quest to see the sun one final time, the panic invoked by the war, thousands convinced to fight with promises of so much, met with something no-one should have to face the land's made of pure pile's of corpse's , and the destruction brought on by humanity's machine's, and the tragedy of the tree's, who's attempt to escape their misery was met by the heaven's disgust and a refusal for compassion, now they stand for eternity's on end because they dared to die, as if the gift of death is some sacred thing when it's just how it was always going to end, a thing they have no power over. insane rambling's more about the layer as a whole out of the way i'd say my favorite song is "dance macabre", the world song's siting at spot 4 and 2 respectively.

I usually just get through the levels, and take in the scenery and music on occasion, but this video really helps paint a perspective so clear to me now of what this game is trying to say about the world this game takes hold in. (Layer 7 would explain act 3's name, that being "Godfist Suicide.")
