13:24 Digitakt and Digitone got Song Mode in a firmware upgrade, a few months after Syntakt came out 👍

@@artexpanse yep I know, this was however originally recorded in 2019. Great boxes though, I have mkII’s coming in soon 🙌🎹
@artexpanse5 күн бұрын
@@BURG Ah yes, just saw that in the description 👍 There's so many people who aren't aware of firmware upgrades, or avoid them maybe for fear of breaking something, and usually missing out on a lot of fantastic features or bug fixes. Not specific to Elektron of course. The MkII's do look great though!! I definitely see a DN2 in my near future 😬

Lovely stuff. It took me a second to come around to mine just because it's so immense & deep, but I absolutely love it now.

I just bought myself an MS20 Mini and have been obsessed with it. To quell my obsession a bit while not around it, I left this on loop while I worked today and now I’m home from work with it on loop again while I make dinner. Amazing textures and sounds. May just have to knick that patch you’ve got going here :) Also, I can’t explain how the synth line bubbling up at 2:05 with the drums going on makes me feel. This jam is phenomenal.

Love this unaffordable beauty of a synth. It's nice to see you've got looper, delay, and reverb, it's all it needs.

Very nice! I love playing with latched arpeggios on my Behringer Crave (a much elsser synth that this one!) but I javen't mastered the technique yet: sometimes I miss the beat by a little bit and the chord chnages om the enxt beat or I even get a "blank" beat sometimes. I haven't figured that out yet.

New to the synthesizer world myself, and have a small but growing collection of starter synths, including the Volca Keys, Volca Bass, Roland S-1 etc….having said that, I found your video a few weeks back and I keep coming back to it again and again. Gotta say that of all the Volca Keys videos, yours resonates with me the strongest. As a beginner it makes a great tool to try and emulate and practice along with as you play. Great song and beautifully rendered. Thanks for the inspiration.
@fellpower19 күн бұрын
That was all nice to hear, but its not the volca itself. its most of your fx eqippment, where the sound design come from. i dont like that

While many on KZbin like to show off large synths by playing hard stabs and huge pads. I appreciate the gentle touch on display here, because it shows that the large polyphony is useful for other things like not cutting off a longer release when playing in many notes in quick succession and having a sequence going in the background at the same time.
@CockatooDude24 күн бұрын
I'm glad you came back with something like this. I often return to your original MS-20 jams with the MicroKorg XL because they were so focused and... this'll sound strange, but almost "pure". This reminds me those but it sounds soooo much more lush, no doubt due to the synth and your no doubt more mature knowledge of mastering vs 10-11 years ago. That bass sequence is just no nice and round.

Whow. You really are feeling inspired by this synth and it shows. What a beautiful composition. I absolutely love the way you turn towards a more uncertain, almost disquieting harmony towards the end, then half-resolve it with a hanging question mark of hope. That's how it sounded to me anyway. Congratulations on producing something so beautiful.
