on a similar note of fun combos theres 1 card that is interesting since its clearly themed around crystal beasts - gem flash energy - which is a continuous that burns on each of ur turns for every continuous spell on the field/crystal beast monster in your backrow not tryna backseat, idk if its even worth playing since it clogs ur s/t zones. but i wanted to mention it since its in some generic trap pack not the crystal pack so it might be hard to notice

Yup, seems strange you need to build around beating the ai, not buildi a deck that's actually good 😆 Still fun but definitely annoying how obvious the top decking can be

Only the main cast have the relationship thing, and it needs to be maxxed to partner with them. But that would actually be a brilliant idea that better relationship = higher synergy

@@DaiyaBeatus yeah each character has different AI for each game, Jaden is best for 400 friends because he actively avoids getting close to you, Sadie has all the cards memorized for 21 (cause she's the card shop girl) I think either Bastion or Sy are the best for the stones of wisdom mini game, but that one's never really been confirmed (and is also up to player preference, some even say Blair's the best for that one) and dodge ball is dodge ball, you can win it with your skill alone, AI be damned... in the 3rd game a new minigame gets added on along with all the old ones, but it's basically just a guide on who likes what sandwiches, I like it for THAT purpose, but other than that it's just... luck based MEH! but yeah for 21 good luck with winning unless you bring Sadie along, even BASTION get's cards wrong now and again and EVERYONE does dumb shit unless they KNOW they'll get a 21 off a revealed card. (Jaden's the WORST partner btw, man doesn't even have HIS OWN card's memorized)

I was similar 😆 I first played this by borrowing it from a friend then I bought my own copy later, it wasnt till many years later I revisited it to beat it and fell in love with it 😆 I'm glad others loved it as much as I do that now we have so many mods for it

You can unlock the mini game packs at level 40 also

Yeah at least there are alternate unlock conditions, but cool that the mini games do at least serve an actual purpose

Also the tag ai seems to base it strategies around your deck cards and poor coding for negate (it seems to not have no priority tier and only affectable targets list)
