Hi, I need more details. Did you move that switch to 5.1? Have you connected all 3 jacks to the ports on the back of the POD Control? Where are you getting the signal from? From PC? on PC do you use Soft for 5.1? Do you play 5.1 movies that are capable of transmitting signals on the PC outputs? (on the Green Pink Black plugs) Are you using the optical input? You can try to connect the black jack in the middle to the POD Control behind it, and play from your phone or other signal source and see if only the rear speakers work.

@@1drbulpeter1 The sound system on my car had the classic 5.1 system. It was not a BOSE or B&O system. I used an amplifier for the door speakers that were replaced with 80W rms ones and to amplify this subwoofer, which in the meantime was replaced with a 500w rms one. You can use a small mono amplifier. I assure you that the difference between the original subwoofer from Audi and a subwoofer of over 200w mrs, is a huge difference. At least that's how it was in my case.

@@bhavinjagruti As far as I know, this problem is due to the transistors on the preamplification board in the subwoofer. I don't really believe that a TDA gives way so quickly. You have to check if you have 5V at the mute pin leading to TDA. I also had problems with the subwoofer, since nothing could be heard from it, and I changed all the transistors on the preamplifier board because they only had 1.4V at the output to the TDA.

Quando deixo o POD desligado por um tempo depois de um tempo o display volta a mostras a descrição mas com o tempo ele ligado vai se apagando aos poucos.

@@igobrgameplay Na ponte de controle existem 3 reguladores de tensão, se não me engano, verifique qual tensão você tem neles também. Teoricamente você deveria ter entre 3/5v Tente substituir também o grande capacitor dentro do POD Control. É 16V 1000uf

The bass speakers differ depending on the car's equipment. Do you have B&O or Bose, or normal system? Or you can open the spare wheel (or where you positioned the subwoofer) and see what series it has or open it to measure the speaker in case you want to mount a stronger one!

Hello, yes, it is possible. It's a bit more complicated because you have to make 3 different power supplies to power this POD Control from logitech Z5500. But the speaker outputs can be used on the x530 amplifier. You have to build a circuit to turn off/on the amplifiers because the Z5500 uses one transistor for each pair of channels to turn off all 5 TDAs. Hi, I checked the amplification part! The amplifier in the subwoofer outputs 100W RMS. RMS means no distortion. What is the point of measuring the maximum power that this amplifier puts out if from 100W upwards it has distortions enough to fry a 5000w speaker?? The video is informative, with an approximate measurement of what that amplifier in the logitech Z5500 system can offer. I cannot measure the real power of the speaker, there are other procedures to be done! Those from logitech put that Volume Boost up to +22, (not just +11 as you specified.) for sources with a weak signal. If you have a connected phone you won't have a very strong sound from these speakers, so then you can use Boost +22, but if you connect the system to a PC with a dedicated or external card that offers up to 2.3V/3V on the output, then you don't have to use Boost +22, because you only harm the system and it doesn't help you in any way to have distortions and a horrible sound.... You can watch the video until the end before you say it's useless.

@@ElektroGamer30 The point is manufacturers will always give you the maximum rated spec, no matter if it's distorted or not. They say: "hey it's capable of that". Should you use it like that? Probably not, but that doesn't mean it isn't capable of it. Yeah it goes to +22, but not "officially". You would be amazed how many people use it in the max - +11 range. Even more, how can you say that it can't output more if it goes to +22? You haven't even tested it, at least on camera. Also this is the definition of RMS: "continuous power handling of a speaker or a subwoofer or how much continuous power an amplifier can output". It doesn't say anywhere "no distortion sound".

Hello, there are several steps to follow to solve the problem. The first time you have to see where this problem comes from. From POD Control or Subwoofer (amplification part). The first time, check the connection cables, check the selected effect, and check the volume on the rear speakers. Connect the 3.5 jack cable on the side to POD Control, select stereo effect x 2, press the level button, select surround, and set the volume to half or maximum and see if it works, if not, then more detailed checks must be done. For this you can try to turn on the subwoofer without POD Control and see if all the speakers work, including the rear left and right! Hello, I don't own such a model, but as far as I know, the z906 has a much nicer sound than the z5500, the bass is clearer and deeper on the z906 than on the z5500, and the amplification part is much more modern! But my systems are completely modified and the sound is much clearer more detailed and the bass is very strong!

@@SangalDigital I replaced 2 speakers out of the 10 that I have, with some with built-in tweeter. The sound is totally different. I will order 2 more speakers with twweter, or maybe 4 more. I'm really happy with the Z5500, but as I said, my systems are completely changed!

You may have the old system. If the PID is below R700, it is the old model! You can choose according to the number of pins. That's how I mounted the lights! When you unlock the car with the key, after 2 seconds the welcome lights come on! After locking the car with the key, after 5/10 seconds the lights also turn off and after 60 seconds the energy consumption of the light modules stops!
