Logitech Z5500 Best Mod 4 *LAST* (60% Power And Better Sound Quality?)

Today I will present you the last MOD for logitech Z5500!
This modification along with the others we made to this system improved the sound by up to 60%
The sound is much more detailed, much stronger and the bass much deeper!
We used the best quality capacitors (Nichicon FG) of 47uf 50V and 22uf 50V!
For this MOD you need:
12 pcs. Nichicon FG 47uf 50V
13 pcs. Nichicon FG 22uf 50V
If you want to get the results I got, you have to do the other MODS that I did!

Hello, I will also make a video with the sound test! HQ and SPL! But I cannot make a comparison between an unmodified system and the modified one! In my case, both systems are completely modified! The sound is totally changed compared to how the system was before the MOD!

Does anyone know the values of the SMD caps on the back under the two large caps? Mine blew clean off the board also I think it caused the voltage regulators to go along with one resistor.

I don't know the exact value, but there is a diagram on the internet that shows all the components in the system. Or maybe someone else can help you with a comment here!

Hello, to diagnose the problem you need to do several checks! 1: Where do you give signal in the logitech system? pc? laptop? Phone? television? Via optical cable or via jack 3.5? Check that the signal source is correct! 2: Check the speakers, possibly replace them with those that work correctly! Right front with left front, and left rear with right rear! That's how you can tell if the problem is with the speakers! 3: Check the 3.5 jack plug if it has problems, it is best to replace the jack plug! 4: If you use a 5.1 adapter it could be defective! Check with a jack plug connected to the phone and then to each port on the back of the POD Control! Green connector, front right/left. Pink connector, subwoofer and central speaker. Black connector, rear right/left! Select POD Control (Input direct Effect 6CH Direct) and check if the sound is correct on the front speakers, then on the rear ones, then on the subwoofer and center! If it still doesn't work, leave a message and I'll give you more complicated things to do!

@ElektroGamer30. Thank you for your reply. I did check all your suggestions. But I found problem is same. I did change speakers as well. I have opened both Subwoofer Main Board and control pod board but unable to trace any fault. No leaked capacitor found or no TDA IC burn found. problem is with right side front and rear sound. which is very low, on boost mode it increases but at low level. I am bit confused with main board and control pod board. I am unable to find service datasheet for Z500 on internet. SO, I can at least come to know which opamp is for which channel. Please help to diagnose.

I was waiting for you to come back with a comment, but it seems that I did not receive a notification for this message, it was held for review, I don't know why! Before replacing the OPAMP try to check the output from POD Control! Check if each output has identical voltages! 1.5V if I'm not mistaken! See if you have identical voltages on the right channel and on the left channel! Watch a video how I connected POD Control to another amplifier! You just have to measure the POD Control outputs with a multimeter! It is possible that there is a problem with the subwoofer, I don't know exactly! Hi, I don't own a Z623 system! What exactly do you need? Do you want to change the vga plug? If you want to start the Z623 system without the main speaker, you can connect pin 5 and pin 15 to start (or you can put a switch) and pin 6 is positive and pin 10 is negative, you can connect it to a 3.5 mono jack or to an RCA !

You had to check each wire with a multimeter! E.g: Pin 1 - red color Pin 2 - purple color And so on! Don't you have an old plug to check every pin? @@GamblingMarket-im8ni

@@GamblingMarket-im8ni You have this order in the plug inside the speaker that controls the system! TC47 TC29 TC31 TC39 TC37 TC34 TC28 TC15 TC9 TC7 TC1 Starting from TC47 you have Red-White color! Red White Blue-White Green-White Orange Blue White Black Gray Green Black-White Red Purple Yellow If you still have the old plug, try to check what color the pin in the VGA plug reaches and that way you can figure out which color from the new plug matches the color from the old plug! E.g! Pin 1 yellow in the old VGA plug! Measure pin 1 at the new plug and there you probably have a different color for example, Pin 1 green color!
