Something that works for me. I do the following: 1. Put a log on the bathroom wall. 2. Weight when I go to bed and whenever I get up. 3. At some point in time I calculate the daily average for each day. 4. At some point in time I calculate a 7 day daily average of the averages for weight and a 7 day average for caloric intake. 5. At the end of the month calculate averages for weights and also caloric intake. It really doesn't take much time each day.

Eating processed food s and greasy food s that are very high in salt and sugar and especially fat content makes you hungry from experience in my own life there should be a vitamin supplement or medication s like a pill to control hunger cravings so that you can lose weight especially me

I have flat abs unfortunatley. I train them....but they are just flat and tall, and make it hard to see / constantly poke out. Chest up/ sholders back they are slightly visible almost always, and of course flexed etc you can tell theyre rhere, but I also have unfavorble fat storage on top of it lmao. So when I flex( in my opinion), it looks worse. I'm very slowly losing body fat, and it seems like it's taking forever. But yeah... I feel you when you say, "I don't have thick abs..."

My successful abs regimen centers around a Victoria Johnson workout. At the beginning of the workout, Victoria states that 'To get a rock-hard stomach, you have to REALLY put some work into it, along with watching your diet and doing a little cardiovascular three to four times a week." This notion that abs are made in the kitchen is flat out wrong. Abs, like any muscle, have to be built up in order to pop out.

62M. I am eight weeks into my abs program and they're just starting to pop out. At this rate of progress, in another eight weeks, my abs should be visible under a tight T-shirt. I don't think it's possible to get a six-pack in 30 days, without the aid of HGH or steroids.

I skip breakfast a lot cause I have a job to get to honestly😅 But tbh if not eating much made me lose weight then I'd be the skinniest person cause I've been homeless most my life with my mom and your lucky to get one or two meals so im use to doing that, i just wanna study on this more, cause i need a boost of metabolism. I've been losing a bit of weight recently too lol i first noticed it was at 280 and im now at 271 so its went down good so far. Ive also been using HelloFresh which has GREATLY shown me how much food i should eat/buy to fill both me and my mom. We had no idea just 10 ounces of meat was all we needed! Amazing tbh lol i am gonna study more on calorie intake

I just started working out 5 times a week, up from 3 days a week. I just started taking prorein and creatine. I know I need the creatine on rest days, but do I still do a protein shake on rest days? I'm also considering amino acid supplements, but there is so much misinformation out there on the subject that it's hard to know what I need. Also I'm one of those people who can only eat once or twice a day. If I eat anything after 11 am I can't eat dinner. I'm too full. I thought lifting weights would make me hungry, but it does not.

Historically oatmeal was the grain source for people living in the North of the Northern Hemisphere such as Scotland and Scandinavia because it and rye were the two grains that could still be reliably grown under the prevailing climatic conditions and still are. Oats owes its health benefits to the form of starch it contains which is crystalline with a high proportion of long chain amylopectin. This means that when cooked before consumption is swells so improving satiety and limiting energy intake. This is a form of resistant starch, like that green green bananas, rice and legumes, that gives it a low glycemic value meaning a lower level of starch absorbed as glucose from the small intestine and a high level reaching the large intestine where it promotes a good microbiome and provides butyric acid that is the main energy source for the gut wall but which also travels to the brain and has important functions there. Organic oatmeal should be avoided unless you can test it with a UV lamp to make sure it does not contain ergot a common oat fungus seen as black spots and which causes blindness though in small amounts is used for PMS. Weight is more amount of when you eat rather than energy intake and can be achieved via restricted feeding without lowering calories which simple lower metabolic rate and so is not effective whereas time restricted feeding or intermittent fating increase metabolic rate leading to weight loss. Talking about the mineral and vitamin content of individual foods is meaningless since it is that of the whole diet that counts and whether there are adverse interactions. The same with fibre where it is the type of fibre and the impact on the microbiome that is important.

I quit.! I have been bombarded with information on youtube. Some says walking help so I ensured 35k steps each day some says running helps so I added 5Km running approx 30 minute of running every day, yet after a month I am now so demotivated. I don't have enough money to go to the gym for strength training and managing nutrition is a tedious task, you ask me to skip 2 meals I would do that but man I cannot do all this. For a month I was motivated thinking the running and walking I am doing is going to outrun the amount of calories I am talkin but at the end the belly fat is going to remain so there is no point for me to do this anymore. I quit.!!!

I have an appetite that is absolutely not in proportion to my body size. I used to be very slim before I gained 20 kilos of weight due to a diet change recommended by my doctor. Unfortunately, that weight gain was NOT only muscle. I am much bigger now, but my appetite is still the same as a it was as a slim person. Now I'm just a person in a large body with a dislike in food. Even if I'm physically hungry, I'd much rather not eat bc I dont have the appetite. I suffer from low energy and my weight does not budge. It's such a twisted situation to be in, I dont really know how to fix this

Do you count macros? I’ve been bodybuilding since January and have noticed that a lot but not all bodybuilders count macros. When would you suggest counting macros vs not counting macros?
@IvanaChapman
@IvanaChapman 6 күн бұрын
I don't compete anymore, but when I did I usually tracked calories/macros in prep. Bodybuilders who don't track calories/macros tend to follow a consistent meal plan (the same thing all the time), so they're always having the same calories/macros and don't need to track. For most people, I recommend initially tracking calories and protein (adjusting fat and carbs based on preference) to get familiar with the components of foods they regularly eat. On an ongoing basis, I don't think most people need to track calories/macros, but having awareness certainly helps.

I’ve always enjoyed just steaming vegetables. Carrots, Potatoes, broccoli, corn on the cob, cauliflower, Snap or snow peas. Doesn’t matter. What I want to know is how destructive can vegetables be in general cause cellulose I hear is extremely hard to break down compared to meat. I don’t want to risk developing something like ulcerative colitis.
