Try the Camille Rose Guava line. Omg the leave-in has more slip than any leave-in I've ever used. It's not heavy. Oyin had a really good shampoo bar. I'm not sure if they still do. I have to try Soultanicals and Pattern.

The pattern sale was pretty good! I liked that they had daily door busters so it kept things interesting lol. ; I hope the Algae Renew works for you. I was disappointed when it stopped working for my hair after I repurchased it a while back. 😔 I was tempted to check out the new Guava collection, but I ended up passing on it. It contains avocado butter within the first five ingredients which helps with strengthening. There's also sea kelp towards the end of the list. Although there's no hydrolyzed proteins, there are those two ingredients that promote strength.

I have some of the products you listed and love them. Have you tried Oyin's juices? I use the Juices and Berries as a mid-week refresher and I like it a lot. It does have glycerin but it's not a top ingredient.

Yayyy! 🤗 Which ones do you have? So, I’ve tried Oyin’s Juices & Berries years ago, but I found that it left my hair feeling a bit gummy and sticky. I considered picking it up again this Black Friday when I was shopping, but I ended up choosing the refresher sprays from Pattern and Shescentit instead. We'll see how it goes!

Hi Joanlino!👋🏾 I would suggest protective styling your natural hair in twists to retain length. You can use a moisturizing lotion or mist to infuse hydration and use an oil, butter, or a pomade to lock in the moisture. It's a low manipulation hairstyle that doesn't require too much maintenance. So I see there are two different kinds of geritol which I didn't know prior to watching all these yt videos, but apparently there's a pill form MULTIVITAMIN geritol and a liquid ENERGY SUPPORT geritol. Are they both responsible for helping with conception or just the MULTIVITAMIN one?

Girl i have a list for myself and my daughters. I am restocking everything except stylers. Shampoos, prepoos, leave-ins and moisturizers. I am restocking fav from brands like Pattern, SheScentit, Curl Origin, Asiam, Negres Banda, Nature Little Secret, Henna Sooq, Nowiamnappy, Soultanicals, and Camille Rose. I know it sounds like a lot, but we have favorites from several brands. The good thing is once I stock up, I will not make any other purchases until another BF.

thought id see camille rose on your list.. i plan to shop camille rose as she only has two online 10us sales a year... back to school and black friday..saw her new guava slip line on instragram so may pick up the guava leave in and souffle and my regular used items. definitely the algae renew x3 i also have pattern beauty in my cart but waiting to see if anything i want will be 40% off as a doorbuster.. only want the hair milk, custard and strong hold gel.. 30% off is not a big discount. soultanicals is also on my list.. last year she did 60% off on black friday and 50% off cyber monday.. never used curl origin but the hibiscus line looks interesting.. both curl origin and she scent it have sales year round so i may skip their black friday sale.. however she scent it did hint a new collection will be coming goal is to get brands that are normally not discounted or rarely on sale

Hey Junie, of course! Hmm, that's a tough one because they all have great slip, but I’d say the Double Moisture DC has the best slip. From what I remember, it glides through the strands like butter. That’s why I'm making sure to grab two jars lol. After that, I’d say the Honey & Hibiscus DC is a close second. Hope this helps!🥰

I completely understand! The scent of hair products really does make a difference. I’m sure they’ve received feedback from customers about the strong scents which is why they’re offering an unscented version now. I’ll still be sticking with the scented version, but I love that they’re catering to everyone’s preferences.

WHAT COULD BE CAUSING SO MUCH HAIR SHED WITH CGM? And the dryness is unbelievable. I'm using TGIN mask, leave in, milk, and twisting cream. Carol daughters shampoo and Conditioner.

Hey, I'm following curl training techniques which is different from the curly girl method. The CGM didn't work for my high porosity hair. I experienced moisture overload using this method which can cause excessive shedding and breakage because the hair is very weak. I would suggest curl training as opposed to the CGM.

I also have high porosity hair and my best cream that gives me definition and a week long was-n-go is design essentials braid an twist cream and an avocado serum which lay lays the cuticles down so moisture stays in it lasts about a week with little manipulation as possible. I silk pressed my hair and it is in the middle of my back natural it's to my shoulders it just trial and error.❤

For definition throughout the week, I've been retwisting the exact the same way you did each night since it doesn't take long... and in the morning, blowdrying on warm to stretch before take down.

Thank you for sharing Maxine! If I stretched while blowdrying, my hair wouldn't have any volume 🥲 I'm glad that this method works for you though. I'm going to try a different refresher spray without protein to see whether that does the trick.

@AfroKhadisiac I only stretch every now and then; totally optional. Didn't stretch today and just separated with oil sheen on my hands and got so many compliments.
