Seriously, you don't have wrist seals in addition to the dry gloves ? 😮

I tested the puddle outside my house where the chickens drink from with these pH strips. They are telling me that this somehow clowdy water is incredibly clear. Am I able to drink it now? Just kidding. The glacier guys also don't rely on pH strips. I bet they determined the purity by full chemical an micro biological analysis. Otherwise you can't tell if the water doesn't wash heavy metals or arsenic or lots of sulfur out of the lava.

The deeper you go more compressed your undergarments get. I get cold in 2 degree celsius water when I don't add air to my drysuit every few meters. Two of instructors I dive with (cave instructors) claim that drysuit are for contolling the buoyancy, while bcds are for surface and emergencies. Also I can't imagine diving with only one 1st stage in water below 7 degrees. This is irresponsible PS bending your knees helps!

I’m a little unclear on his comment about diving with shoulder vent open “all the time.” How is that possible when air needs to be added to the suit as he descends to depth?

What about getting the air out your suit before you put weight belt on and I would also recommend put your left arm through first so you don’t catch your valve on the bcd/wind strap.

what would a good setup be for wind surfing?

in case the suit leaks, could you use a wet suit in stead of an air layer?

Hi, I just came across your review. Its nice to get some honest feedback on Wool-power clothing. You have quite a cold environment to work in, Diving in Iceland. I studied conservation and spend many years working in a mix of outdoor, gardening, habitat set ups. As an encouragement for people with learning difficulties. In the long term, I am planning to set up an educational project. I have used a mix of Helly Hansen and Woolpower base layers. One long arm flees, and several wool jumpers. Now its time to update my clothing...most is badly worn out.

What I don't get is why you are diving with only one 1st stage, in cold water the risk of your 1st stage freezing would be to high for me. Twin valve and two 1st stages would be much more safe. Or did I miss something?

I dive in the waterproof d7x. It cost the price of a kids first car. Ill never dive another brand ! I'll likely never have to replace it. It's a lifetime rig. I've been in 40 degree water in it. It was a miserable dive. The 3 ppl in scubapros bailed. I lasted 40 mins solo. I've since upgraded undergarments. Nice vid.

Bit more faffing about then getting in to a Dunlop neck entry dry bag, then either using SABA for air or CDBA for mix gasses. Those who know, know.
