the board eval thing is not the best as ur bot will be a prey of the horizon effect which happened to older coded chess engines even though they were far better codes! but it works

Just clicked on this and… IT'S ON THE PLAYDATE?!?! 🤩 I have a bit of a soft spot for the way it does graphics and the way devs design graphics for its graphics subsystem, but never bought one despite me hearing about Panic's logistical issues being solved which would allow me to finally get one. I'm going to just add this to my wishlist, though, so I can get it later when I do get one.

Yeah it's a great little system! Even if you don't get a playdate though you can still get the game and play it on the free simulator once the game comes out!

Right now the plan is just to release on playdate, but I have had interest in a PC release so there's a chance in the future that I could try to put it on mobile also, but no promises haha

It's a 6 song soundtrack that I had commissioned by flowerhead, and I think he'll be releasing the full thing once the game comes out
