Watching your series again, now a few years later. So lesson given…you can’t have a big enough anchor! And always back it in. You acted very well. My only thought was perhaps the coastguard should have been contacted as soon as you saw the French boat dragging.

Are you two for real??? Where do you get your wind readings from. For heaven sake, the water was flat most of the time. It doesn't even sound windy. Come to Western Australia, we have winds that would make you cringe in horror.

Can also use a chemical bottom paint stripper. You put it on, cover it in plastic, leave it for a few days, scrape it off and then sand remaining off.

Ah, Im thinking very few Tayana 37 owners even think about cats. A boat like a Tayana is a certified "Gets you there and back" boat. I have a similar boat and love my fort on the water...
