I don't know if I would of left knowing we would need to quarantine. It was probably the best decision looking back on this hurricane season but quarantining for that long unable to go anywhere would be annoying. At least you had a nice sail getting there and can look back on that. Boat work needs to be done so it won't be so bad if you keep your selves busy. Keep living the dream!

Always tough to leave a great place but you'll do great. And hey do you like the teak decks up to the bow? Watching this guy on line promoting certain boats that got rid of their teak decks and added non skid paint. What's that all about .

It was probably sad to leave--and I am sure you do, but protect yourself. I live in Arizona and it is an unmitigated disaster here. Me and my sis both caught it (both of us are fine). I am not horribly sick, but the symptoms just never go away--I'm going on 4 weeks... Luckily Vaccines are rolling out!!!

Sorry to hear it. We do protect ourselves, don't worry. In real time, we both resulted negative three times each (all three were mandatory quarantine tests; we were never in doubt of having it).

You’ll no doubt make the 17 days of quarantine into a schedule for all those little maintenance jobs you can do with out going ashore for spares. Great video guys and thanks again for allowing us to sail vicariously !

Enjoy Grenada. After quarantine be sure to go to Umbrellas beach bar on Grand Anse Beach and climb Mt. QuaQua. Be sure to check out Carriacou. Nice little island with two separate mountains to hike with awesome views.

Glad you made it to Grenada, I thought the place was paradise but I guess three months is enough. Hope you got to sit around on Grand Anse Beach and drink a few beers. All the best for your future plans, may you find peace and happiness wherever you go. PS; FWIW given your documented work on Skua I think someone is going to get a deal. If my circumstances were slightly different I'd be on a flight to Grenada to buy her from you.

Bonjour Elena and Ryan. it's Monday here in the north of France. it's 13h and i received the notification that a video, a new video is available and waiting for me. since i last wrote, i've been 'case départ !' i've started to watch again your aventure that started on Kittiwake. perhaps i'm an 'old softy' but what a gorgeous run of videos and exploration. last week was a bit difficult, because my swallow was tight and saline liquid began forming in my eyes without running down my cheeks. Ryan and Elena what have you done to me. i'm a grown man with children and grand-children and with no 'fist full of dollars.' i'm positive i'm not the only one in this state of denial and 'pre-non video withdrawl.' i'll leave it here with the following quote: "Jamie (Colin Firth) and Aurelia (Lucia Moniz) prove love (for your videos) defies language barriers. Jamie (in English, to his housekeeper): "It's my favorite time of day, driving you (watching your videos)." Aurelia (in Portuguese): "It's the saddest part of my day, leaving you (knowing soon you two will be gone). cheers

Grenada is known for it's fishing, especially around Gouyave. The island's premier fishing town and where my Grandmother lives. Fishermen from Venezuela fish in Grenada waters. So not surprised you caught a Spanish Mackerel. Nice going you two. Hope you enjoyed yourselves. Another fun video. Thank you.

hello to you both, i was wondering if you took time to go birding to see the very rare St. Vincent's Amazon Parrot. My wife and i are hoping to retire and plant hunt down a dream sailboat in two years. you both have been a great source of info. much thanks. All the Very Best in Sailing.

Ok so here you are sailing in paradise on a journey that many of us wish to do and in you last video you announced that your selling your home and going back to England. I’ve been pondering that announcement and I think it sucks. You two have come so far, sailed hard and are successful at doing so. We have all been following you, many have supported you during your trip and now while your in paradise your packing it in. This is a very disturbing decision. Why ? Something big has rocked your lives and I’m sorry your option is to sell and return home. That’s just 😞 sad ☹️👎⛵️⛵️

Are you thinking of moving up to a larger Cat? Lots more light and living space... AND-- you are in the prime area to buy one that's been storm damaged... Handy way to build equity if you're handy....

Yep, and Ryan is extremely handy...his boat work prior to the Atlantic crossing was exemplary...I'd consider it if I were you two...I get the impression you need a new challenge...a Carribbean based English shipright could be it ! 😎👍
