I really like this type of mapping, taking into account every detail rigorously as for example the small uprisings in Russia where Napoleon's forces were occupying. And the music makes it better Really good video.

I love this one. Without a doubt the best map video covering the Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars. And the music is just excellent, that old version of Chant du Depart is so good.

@@space00010 I’ll see about it, some wars have been covered extensively enough and I felt the Yom Kippur war was very simplified based on the videos on it at the time, also the full zoom out shot doesn’t really make you see what goes on enough

In this video you can clearly see how Israel has always struggled to capture large cities and had to rely in columns of advance due to their lack of manpower but better training and technology while the arab side had the opposite issue. They could occupy large swaths of territory easily while struggling in head on battles with the IDF. Great video as always!

Good map. Though on tip tho it might just be a me problem is maybe make neutral countries grey instead of white. The dark blue and red contrast on white making white stand out a lot.

I did this once, too! I hear everyone say that conscripts are useless, and for the most part, that's true. They have garbage stats without the training upgrades and deploying them reduces war support. But here's the thing: If you switch to a government type while being threatened by ideological enemies, and then declare an ideological war, you gain a boost to war support until that war ends. So, if your country is big and stable, and you switched to a government type that almost no other country on the continent has, your war support will become extremely high and you'll be able to get RIDICULOUS amounts of conscripts. And if you stay at war long enough, these conscripts will gain experience and lose their debuffs, and you'll just have an extremely large army with no downsides. AND the radical republican government type allows you to hire whatever leaders you want without having to worry about aristocratic pressure, which, during a war, will give you leaders with absolutely insane stats. In one game, one of my generals literally never lost a battle until I got cocky and turned the entire continent against me. That particular general couped the government and declared himself emperor, by the way. TL:DR Becoming a radical republic out of nowhere and declaring war on every country in Europe breaks the game.
