@frothybevvy4706 thankyou very much! If you go back through my videos I did a painting tutorial not too long ago. Basically it's some ripped up cork sheet, with basing paste, tufts, water texture, gloss wash, pigments, then the odd other bit like rocks, skulls, barbed wire things like that added 👍🍻

Wow love these type of tournaments very intimate just a handful of players relaxed atmosphere great looking armies tea coffee and biscuits and Coke by the TO doesn't get much better.

Great game! The two army’s I own. BT was my first love so of course I’d pick the heretic witch TS for my second army. I have my TS painted up in a black, purple trim theme. Unit I’ve found fun lately I highly suggest trying….. Assault terminator squad (full squad) led by Chaplin in terminator armor. Run all the terminators with dual lightning claws, +1 and reroll wounds on 40 attacks….

@@dailydice they are pretty juicy, specially if you run “no escape” just run your teli beacon opposite board to trick your opponent into thinking you will redeploy there late game. They’ll dedicate more units and it’ll help with the slower mobility. I usually keep a unit of hellblasters or heavy intercessors over watching the point with the beacon

Love the armies! I really needed some good bt action. One small things, the way you handled the fight on death was not super correct... you roll for each model, you don't get to just roll all at once and say you keep the best ones. Also, they still need to pile in, if they were too far back they would not attack

Great game fellas, ive just got into 40k and started collecting tau and BT so this is really helpful! One question is ive heard that as tau you dont have to actually use the drone models, is that right?

@frothybevvy4706 nice, two great army choices there! And welcome to 40k matey. Yeah basically they are just markers to show you and your opponent that you are using a drone ability on that unit. Technically you don't need the physical model on the table 👍

Probably my favourite I've seen so far. Always a mark for Orks anyway, and got a huge soft spot for firstborn. And everything looks so good! And the idea of scouts squinting up at the sky and then checking the vague outline of a stormboy they'd been given and told to look out for tickled me.

@McVilla1N mate i started off in exactly the same place as you, if you have any local games workshops or local hobby stores you should check them out man, if not I think the dakkadakka forum has a game finder on it to help you find people in your area to play with 👌

I dont know how you guys do it every single time again, but those armies are wonderfully painted! I also like the bases you put them on. One bit of criticism (or feedback, so you will). With such awesome scenery and those wonderfull armies on the table, its a pitty that its actually your dice tray that is in screen most of the time. Please split screen :-)

Ok so quick tip. At 1:04:06 your judiciar could have wiped the SOTs himself if you used 1 CP to give his unit abhors the witch. Anti psycher 3+ would ignore the -1 to wound and proxy Devistating wounds, and with the sword brothers boating him to 3 Dmg every 3+ would be a dead terminator. Same for the thunder hammer Sword brother. Other than that great game so far, always fun ti see a nerd get thier money stolen, Jk Magnus did nothing wrong, Who’s side am I On? who knows, for I am Alpharius

Fair enough I didn’t consider that. Well played and I have to say I ate my words when you finished off that last unit. I love judicaiars and I always say their swords should have anti- Charecter or strength 8, they are one of my favorite primarus unit.

Great game and still watching! While I remember, with Grimmys 3 Servitors, you can use these to soak up some damage due to their 4+ invul. Rather than taking crusaders off the board. They don’t have the character keyword so can be used to apply wounds/damage to unlike Grimmy who waits till squad is gone. Great to see him leading a big block and amazing painting :)
